  1. That guy stopped riding a long while ago, that video was filmed in moncton, new brunswick...where I live! I've never ridden with him, but I've been to/done a lot of those lines.
  2. Really nothing impressive in those NS videos. I'm against dirt jump bikes that people try to call "street" bikes. They're garbage. And these mtbs built up like bmx's, like the one above...honestly offer no benefit over a real bmx. That reset on the other hand, looks prime.
  3. Funny, I used the brake for about 3 hours of riding, and it only seemed to get worse. I regrinded today, and it's working amazingly. Actually a lot better than my rock pads now.
  4. I just got some coust pads, had rock blues before. My setup was working quite well with the blues, put the cousts on the same rim setup, and they were much louder, but didn't hold as well. I'm going to regrind before next ride, see if that helps a bit.
  5. It's only a matter of time before bike trials becomes an Olympic sport.
  6. Sweet, yer vids are always great. Can't wait to see
  7. If you had followed the explanation, you wouldn't have stripped it.
  8. Dobermann can make you a custom frame, there's a guy that had a dobermann frame made to have the same geo of his old PX. I'll find some pics. Edit: Here
  9. Amazing! Loved to see Jeff do some front wheel moves in a video!
  10. So far, I agree with everything DLB and basher have said. Weed is all too common in Canada, and they've pretty much gotten rid of penalties for having it. Weed does NOT grow naturally in Canada. It can be grown in our climate, but it's not native to these lands. Weed, back when it was first used for smoking, had a very low amount of THC. It was cross bred many times to have much higher amounts of THC, and there are many different sub species of marijuana. All the government has done by reducing charges on weed, has made a generation of lazy, unintelligent and burnt out individuals.
  11. Pretty sure those frames are horizontal with 135? I think they've tried to copy the hydroxx with the Z3 frame. I also don't see why they've made the dropouts so long with the horizontal ones, there's no way the average brake mount can pivot that much.
  12. 1st post Great vid matt! You definitely destroy me at sidehops.
  13. 18:15 with 175's. Tried it, loved it. I'm running 18:16 with 170's now though. Would switch if I could afford to...
  14. I REALLY like that bike, only thing I'd change is fork. I had one of those, and the flex drove me crazy. SICK RIDE MAN!
  15. Maybe because they taco easily? lol Sometimes the DOB factory don't have them in stock as well.
  16. I remember there being a thread on trials-online forum where someone tested a indy 9 wheel vs chris king wheel. If my memory serves me correct, he could gap about 7-9 inches further with the indy 9 hub.
  17. that's how I translated it? James is a bloody tank though.
  18. +1 I've always found people that smoke weed to say "Hasn't affected me" and they're always the least intelligent people you know...haha. Weed definitely destroys your brain, you just don't realize it!
  19. ...you could try...misaligning your brake pads? lol I did this last year. I had echo pads, and when they faced the rim perfectly, it would bite too much. So, made one side a tad crooked (one end of the pad touched the rim before the other) and the brake was far more modulable...but still had hold... I know others wont recommend this...but see what you think? Grinds are good as well for added modulation.
  20. He fell off a rock and has a fracture. He went to the hospital in an ambulance. Gilles and James were both limping at the end of the comp...
  21. Well, I'll probably try it on one of the dead echo rims I have first, then do it to the real wheel. It's actually my brother's wheels, he's got echo 07 rims front and rear, and they honestly have way too much material on them. The old dead one I have weighs 880 g with 3 grinds! ...so a light rim that grinds well would be beautiful.
