  1. AH, sorry about not realizing the 3 frames bit. It seemed as though you were only going to be sending out 1 frame by the way people were writing. 675mm is about what I'm running now on my ZHI, seems a bit too long for my size...would be nice to see one with identical geo to the hydroxx. That frame is perfect IMO. I liked your initial frame design, but the welds on it really turns me off. If you could get that sorted out it would make these frames more enticing, especially at that price.
  2. Holy shit he's hard on his bike!!! HUGE RIDING! Good to see that frame will take some abuse...makes me trust mine.
  3. It would make more sense to produce 2 or 3 frames to send around, you'd get more testing and advertisement out of it that way, and people wouldn't have to wait a year to try the frame. What is the reach measurement of this frame?
  4. That's a womping massive stem he's running! It's great to see Ozonys is picking up some better comp riders.
  5. One thing I'd like to correct about your descriptions...mods don't tap very well. 26" bikes are more for tapping than 20". The bigger 20" ups are usually bunnyhops.
  6. So I got this tire. I put it on, and it rubs...my z1 sucks for clearence...
  7. started on a trek bruiser in 05 broke it in early 06, got a trek jack as a replacement frame. Got an echo control short in 07 and this year I've had the control in the beginning of the year, then a 08 DOB 26" for 3 weeks, then the echo again, then a GU LE from may till november, and now I'm riding a ZHI Z1.
  8. What head angle does that thing have? Looks like 71-71.5
  9. I was told that you can tru a rotor by going really fast down a hill and applying the brake for quite a distance. I'm not sure how true this is, but it came from a reliable source...
  10. Really good video! Crazy control by all the riders. That was Jerome that had his fork snap right? Looked brutal! Glad he wasn't hurt!
  11. Why did you unbuild it? Crack? That thing looks sick!
  12. It's really worn down in the center, and I cut off the outer knobs so they wouldn't rub on my frame...the ZHI's clearance is a lot tighter than my GU was. Yeah, it rode decent too I guess. Geo is alright, but the flexxxx...ugh. My friend has one and it doesn't seem to flex as much as mine did? Weird. I should have posted weights. The GU was 10.76 KG when I disassembled it. The ZHI is about 10.70 now. Echo was probably like 11.50 lol.
  13. Well, figured that 09 is coming, so I'm going to post up pictures of the bikes I've had, and the bikes my brother has had. Mine: 06 control short (from January till March, and then again from April till May) 08 DOB (rode this for about 3 weeks during march, decided it flexed too much for my liking) 08 GU LE (Rode this from May till November. This rode extremely well, I switched to try something a bit longer and slightly lower bb height) And my current Ride: ZHI Z1 My brother's bikes: Toxsin One(rode this from January till the early summer. Switched to a shorter frame because this is ridiculously long for someone 5'5) Czar short
  14. I really didn't like that. Same thing over and over. Tailwhip, 360, barspin for 8 minutes.
  15. I'm currently using Shimano Dx shoes, and they're pretty decent. Wide sole, flap that goes over the laces like try-alls, and ankle protection. Fit really nicely. The only thing I don't like about them is how hard the bottoms are. Because of the hard bottom, they don't grip as well on platform pedals. I've been told cage pedals work excellently with them though.
  16. ah trials-forum isn't nearly as bad as other places. I had some kid argue with me that people can front wheel tap 7-8 feet. He also argued that a TRA bunnyhop vid I uploaded was a tap...sad...
  17. oh my god, he's not just big, HE'S HUGE! I feel bad for his bike!
