Trials Punk

There are no pictures so don't get too excited. I went riding porthcawl yesturday and Ashton turned up on a new frame. Main differnence is a longer wheelbase. I neglected to get the measuring tape out but it looked much bigger. It has a higher BB, and a lower seat. Theres two new guessets underneath the seat.He said the frame weight is now up to 4lb as he wants a bit more reliability. He did say something about when it would be realised, but I won't say otherwise people will expect it then. The frame looks more or less exactly the same. Just informing you people.

I agree mink. People were saying that trials is based on moto trials, thats true. Question is how did moto trials start? Maybe one person, or a few of them who started messing about on a motorbike trying to get up things. I'm sure that was no compition as they wouldn't have even thought about that when they first tried stuff like this out. So if anybody wants to be bitchy about the origins of trials. Just remember it started with one person or a few, just having fun riding their bikes.

Two points which should make everything clear in the mind of a normal trials rider. 1.) There is no such thing as real trials, theres just trials. 2.) Trials is a sport where you use your bike to get over an object. I mean what is more simple than that?

Basiccly I'm really not sure what to do. I ride mainly street, hardly ever touch the natural stuff. I've been running Brisa 29" flat bars for a while now and I'm riding in a much more streety style now, 180ing up stuff, x-ups all the generall street things. So I was wondering would I be any better off If I bought some EA70's 27" Riser bars? From peoples experiances are riser bars better for street? I'd also be running a kore 100mm stem with 10 degree rise.

Well I know where it is now. By the time the kid got too the house he had sold it. Its now in the hands of some red neck fanily called the burketts. Roguh as truck and I can't do anything unless I physiccly see the bike. then they'll issue out a warrent to search their many dwellings. These people multiply like rabbits, its quite scary actually. :blink:

Theres been a development. Maybe just maybe today when I get to work (argos) my bike might be there for me. On monday there was a new guy starting there, I talked to him yesturday about my bike being nicked off me where he lives described it to him and he said he's seen it. In someones garden. :sick: So he said he'd get it, and he dosn't want any money off me for risking him gettin kicked in. Fair enough. Whoo hoooo I might not be in debt anymore soon.

Just been to the cop shop to write my 4 page essay (witness statement) and the police officer talking to me about the incedent rides downhill. Lmao. There wwas more than one person. Buggers. Anyway thanks for the offers on bikes but I've found a bike that is selling quite cheap with good components. 500yds up the road from me. :P i'll still miss my old beas I'll soon have a nice amount of money to pay my rents back.

Well I'll be working soon, so if the bike hasn't reared its head by tommoro night. My parents are going to lend me money until I can pay them back. I have no idea what bike I want to get now, I wanted to get an Ashton 24" but they're sold out. So I dunno what bike I'm gonna get because I am, errr welsh yeh thats my excuse. Ashton is the only one that caught my eye. Any ideas? Wheelbase no bigger than 1050? :D
