Well theres me clicking all those links and getting 404'd each time...... Anyway, i've got 4 and 7........

I'm glad you chose your words wisely, "some". I think the clear cut definition of trials is using a bike, to overcome obsticles. Its quite simple really.

Some people still don't get the fact, that sarcasm is rarely respected.

Even though the riding wasn't top notch and the quality was a bit poo, I really enjoyed that. I loved the editing, filming and choice of music for it. Well done!

What you need to remind yourself is, trials, is an odd sport. It takes people a while to understand what trials is about. When joe public watches a video of Damon Watson or Neil Tunnicliffe, they are at first impressed and shocked that any of those moves are possible. After a few more views, the shock factor is gone and its back to a video of someone doing strange things on a bike. If they watch a video of Danny MacAskill there is the same initial shock factor they would get from Damon's or Neil's videos, but they can keep watching as they can link it to something more main stream, for instance BMX. A good example of this would be Ken Block, people love him and his driving and he gets millions of views from the public who are not into the rallying scene. If you put ken block, in the lanes of South Wales he would be nothing compared to some of the drivers round here but because he has the wow factor he pulls the crowds. This post is a bit of a mess, I'm ill and my heads floating somewhere near the attic. Hope you get the jist of it.

I think even if the title of this vid was, "Young-un pulls wheelies and stoppies" I still wouldn't have been amazed. Not saying he hasn't got skills, but the stuff he is doing is the same type of stuff everyone thinks about doing at his age. I remember when I first started riding all I did was wheelies, stoppies, manuals, no footer manuals (easier than you might think) skids and other piss poor flatland tricks. Does he do anything else other than this? Like ride dirt?

Its fake. You can clearly see that the shadow of the sky dosn't match up. Also the grass is un natrually green, suggesting it was all fake....

Even after all these years I still have the same avatar that symbolises my hatred for Planet-X. I bet most of the new members have no idea what went on there.....

Can't believe I missed this, had july in my mind for some reason. Bollocks.

Football, as a sport I don't mind. Anything which is a challenge to someone, I respect (to a degree). But I can't stand it as it is. People support clubs which are hundreads of miles away from home, with players who are even further away from their homes! They are overpaid, and the fans get stung for the privalidge. They fall over all the time, have a little cry and always get back up when the game plays on. Pussys. If they wanted to make football better Enforce a rule that you can only have players on your team, who were born in that area, Say within a certain distance. Local people would support their local teams, less people traveling up and down the country to see their "team". Also a sense of real satisfaction when your team climbs the leaderboard, instead of always going with the winning team. Reduce ticket prices, merchandise prices and lower their wages. So everyone gets a chance to watch. MAN UP

I think its all to do with modulation. Having bigger brakes means you can control the braking better, so you can apply the brakes much closer to the point of lock up, and keep it there easier. As soon as the wheels lock up your not braking efficently, so its good to keep it right on the edge of lock up.

Or just learn how to control your landings, set your brake up properlly in the first place and actually pull it..... Works for me. For now, I would keep it smooth, set up your brake perfectly and try it for a bit. See how you get on, if you don't like it then grind it.

Thought I would start up a topic, on what people here think would benefit out countrys future. Please, bear in mind everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If someone says something you do not agree with, explain reasons why you disagree with them DO NOT FLAME! I'll start the ball rolling; I think we should stop wasting our time "defending" our country thousands of miles away. Defence should be on out borders and in our waters, maybe even stretching to our allies borders and waters. Bring the majority of the army, raf and navy back to Britain, have them on border patrol, have them doing house to house searches helping the police fight terrorism. We'd save a shit load of money. Stop defending our countries from borders that are not are own, thats attack Put a stop to tax havens, if you make the money in Britain, all the tax goes to britain simple Reform/Restructure the NHS, the money that is wasted there is rediculous Build nuclear power plants for the next 10-30 years whilst greener technologies are developed. Its pointless spending money on green energy when the technology is still in its infant stages. Wait, bide our time, it will be worth it. Asylum seekers, I am all for people coming to this country seeking asylum. If our country plunged into some kind of civil war, we would be the first people asking for asylum. Although, I strongly believe that all countries in the EU should balance the asylum seekers out to each country dependant on their population and economy. Immigration, accept immigrants who are skilled but ONLY IF THERE IS DEMAND! Also accept forigen students studying over here, but keep a close eye on them. Other than the above, the doors stay shut! Now maybe a controversal one, o.k, it is controversal. Some kind of cap on the amount of children allowed per couple. Our world, let alone our country already has too many people living on it, its not sustainable. I believe that couples should be allowed no more than three maybe four children, and penaltys should be enforced if its not adeared to. Its harsh, but we can't populate this earth any more, its just insane! Prisons - If there is no way a murderer can be proved innocent, and I mean no possible way. Kill them. Unless of course they suffer from some kind of disablity (not one they happened to make up after commiting the crime). I know that some prisoners participate in some kind of job, but I believe that whilst in prison you should be made to pay your way whilst you are there. Even if this does mean full time employment whilst in prison.

Ride it as it is!!! Save your pennies, when something fails replace it with a decent trials specific part!
