  1. So it isn't actully a picture then.
  2. I can understand what people mean about having to wait for a month for a frame, as most people including me would want it well, right now. I really don't mind waiting for the frame, its steel (less chance of me breaking it), its going to ride the way I want it too and its going to look the way I want it too. I think at the moment 24" is only for patient people. I'm sure my base will hold up another month (Y)
  3. GOOD ON YOU I started going out with a girl (foxy babe on here) when she was 14, me being 17 at the time. Almost a year later we are still going strong, me 18 her 15. Worst part was that we were in the same school, which was a bit weird as my mates thought it was a tad unusuall. Making the odd remark or two, I didn't mind that. Other people used to look at us funny. Eventually people got used to it. Main thing is never make her do anything she dosn't want to. Even if she did want to do something, like going to the cinema you should double check (Y) I was hesitant about going out with her at first, but I'm glad I did, because I do love her not. Not embarresed to say it, love is great really. She dosn't mind me going riding at all. What people have been saying about the age differnece, and that its bad. Is a load of nonsense, if you feel so strongly about someone you shouldn't hold back. When the time finally comes when you think I'll go for her now, she'll be taken and you'll be gutted. Hope you too get on well, make the most of life.
  4. She's got some nice curves on her, ohhh I do like curves. Wouldn't really be a fan of how it rides. It would be to large for me to handle. I like the colour, sort of goes with the curves making the bike look real smooth and slick.
  5. Just got off the phone to clive. Geo is going to be 1030mm Wheelbase 380mm Chainstays 74.5 Degree head tube angle 120mm Headtube +15mm BB rise Lighter downtube. Shiny black finish, with red decals. Going to phone clive in 1 month, sort out final details, then he'll knock up the frame. What does everyone think?
  6. The base is stupidly steep mind. So you might be right there.
  7. I'm trying to get a real low BB so I don't have to alter the stem, or put spacers under it, to make it feels similar to what I have now.
  8. Cheers for all that. I think i'll go for 385 chainstay 15mm bb rise if I can 74 degree headangle 1035 wheelbase Some may think that 1035 is too long for parky stuff, but nick manning today in newport. WHAAAAA 1080 wheelbase getting air out of a vert wall, and he hand planted it. Amazing. Do I need to tell clive the top tube length, seat tube length too? Or will he work those out himself?
  9. Why wouldn't 0 drop be any good? Is it because of the space beetween the cranks and floor? If so would an inch really make that much differnence. 20" don't have much BB rise and their wheels are tiny, i've seen people using 175 cranks on them. Same goes for BMX people use 180 cranks. Just wondering as I'd like to keep it to a 0 BB rise, if this isn't really possible then back to the drawing board.
  10. I'm planning on getting a new leeson 24". Built around the geo of my base 26 would this work? I would be using 385mm chainstays, 0 drop BB, With the same head angle as the base, Same headtube length, And to make the wheelbase equal too 1030 Would I need to alter anything here? I'm expecting I'd have to alter the chainstay length but i'm not too sure. I want it ro ride similar to the base, just a tad longer, with more rise in the BB. With 24" it would make it easier for street/park. Thanks for anyhelp.
  11. Cheers. Now all I need is the base's super steep head tube angle.
  12. Hey, I need to know the geometery of both the ashton 24" and the Base TA26. I'm getting a leeson 24" and i'm going to make it ride, the way I want. Please can somebody help, mainly I need the wheelbase, chainstay lenth of the ashton, top tube length and head angle . And head angle for the base. Cheers.
  13. Take marks advice. Its worth it, just think of the pleasure you'll get from watching that car get taken away. With him crying. If he dosn't have insurance, he probablly dosn't have tax, or an mot, car un roadworthy. Kill someone maybe, thats how things can go with people like that. If I were you i'd ride it for a bit until it does get scary, then replace it. Get some use out of it.

  19. I need a pair of arrow racing tyres. The launch version of them. Anybody got any ideas other than a useless LBS to get them?
  20. If craig hadn't exasuted himself up the trails and in the park, actually sort of planned his ride instead of just doing random stuff, hadn't messed his knee up an hour before the comp, I reckon he would have come 2nd. He's getting so much better all the time now, can almost flip doubles which he tried the other day. He's going to be one to watch.
  21. Check out the site for new pictures, official video should be up tonight. JIBJAM WEBSITE
  22. I could get something arranged with that. At the side of the park theres parking for more than enough and its under lock and key. I'll have words. Can everyone post in the news section about this now. Makes it easier. Cheers.
