Just freshened up my 609. Was gutted he didn't carry on, especially with the twin disk 24" he was doing, with the ecentric BB. Be nice if he started making frames again. I'm going to have a crack at the internal tubing that was done on the twin disk at some point. Make it look nice and neat.

Well, I'm fine balancing hoping on the back wheel with my right foot forward. As soon as it comes to balancing along a rail with two wheels the left foot is forward......

I'm a bit tard footed aswell. Left foot for balancing, manuals, bunny hops up etc Right foot for anything on the back wheel Ahhhhh

Tioga power blocks are quite good. Just don't go near glass or anything sharp and you will be fine......

Cheers for that, I think I had best get another MiniDV camera with firewire, the prices on decks are insane!! Yeah, I heard about the VX1000's, I've found some reviews comparing that one with the one I've got now. Thanks for the advice. If anyone knows any more on this camera, let me know.

Hi all Just got myself a Panasonic NV-DX1 3CCD MiniDV second hand. Its an old camera but I was drawn to it for some reason. Think they made them in 1997 or something. Anyway, what I need to know is, how much would you say the camera is worth second hand. I know they were £3000 brand new. Also, its got S-Video output, could I get a TV tuner card and upload footage to a PC via that? Or would I have to use a MiniDV deck or an old MiniDV camera? Cheers.

Your wrong, when the validation system was put in place, It made things alot better. The forum as a whole became alot less flooded with crap.

At the end of the day, there isn't an army of moderators on the forum to deal with all the newcomers. They would much rather leave them in NMC unless the notice they can take care of themselfs and not have to be educated when their in the big pond. If there were more mods/admins who had all the time in the world to sit on here and moderate I'm sure there would be no NMC, unfortuantly there isn't so its shit luck, if you don't like it, leave for another forum that dosn't have this system in place. I agree it can be unfair on some at times, where some people get validated in a day and some a matter of months but that is how it is. No amount of whining from people is going to change that.

With you. Awesome grips, had a set last 3 years. Ribbed grips, so a medium compound can be used but the grips still feel quite squishy because of the ribs collapsing when you grip them. Some of your sweat can drain into the ribs aswell.
