  1. I've got a metal box, with more metal like bits in it. It turns on, and never crashes. I play games on it and I've only spent £400 on it in the past 4 years and it still runs games to the max. What have I got.........
  2. I don't even think giving trials more exposure is a good thing. Its nice like it is, we've got a tight nit community, a nice amount of retailers to buy off (and we know who runs them), if we see another trials rider we'll approach them to introduce ourselfs (unlike majority of BMX now), we have the WOW factor as its something the public rarely see. We're unique!
  3. Locktite will help. I tend to put it in even if the headset isn't flared. Just be carefull as to how much you put on.
  4. Get someone to help you set it up, makes a huge difference. Find something thin, credit card type of thing or a CD and put that in between the pad and the rim. Push the pad onto the rim and tighten it up. Should be nice and square to the rim. You may want to add to the thickness of your spacer, esppecially on the drive side as the wheel tends to flex that way. I've always found that having the blade flat to your bars when your applying full preasure to the lever helps too.
  5. You could do with a bleed kit for it, you bleed it as you would a car. Also, don't go giving the brake a bath of mineral oil, and keep the oil off your skin.
  6. Unless someone on here comes up with something, you could always contact the people you bought it off?
  7. Yeah, looks like you ordered a post mount one. The link you have at the bottom of the page is the correct one.
  8. Have been thinking of doing it to the Leeson Looks soooo clean.
  9. They only stretch so far.....
  10. Try checking your bar and stem aswell. Make sure that all the bolts have got equal torque applied to them, or look at the angle of the clamps to determine which bolts need to be tighter.
  11. Whilst I'm partial to a bit of the old piracy, I tend to support the smaller companies. Especially when they listen to feedback off users. I'm not saying what you should do, just maybe think about the smaller companies.
  12. From what I remember, it was quite simple to set up. Just make sure you set your throttle and brake axis to seperate.
  13. I think its the best "racing" simulator out there. Its amazing how many things you can pick up in the simulator and apply it to real life, vice versa also. A friend of mine learnt all the basics of drifting on LFS, then started getting confident in his car, to be fair he can get at it now!
  14. Need to get on this again, had too much of a break from it. Wind the G25 RIIIIIITE UP.
  15. Shwmae cwn! Dw'i n byw yn Llanbradach chlosia Caerffili.
  16. At the end of the day, why not? As long as they manufacture the stem to handle a certain amount of stress, similar to that of an alu stem then theres no difference. Technology advances, better materials are made available. Wonder if people thought the same thing when the first aluminium frame came out?
  17. Taken from, http://whois.domaintools.com/trials-uk.co.uk Domain name: trials-uk.co.uk Registrant: Daniel Ko Registrant type: UK Individual Registrant's address: 31 31 Coburn Gardens Cheltenham GL51 0GE United Kingdom As far as I'm concerned, if that address stays as is, Dan Ko is still the owner.
  18. If someone has taken over that buisiness, their a fool. The name "Trials-Uk" now has a terrible reputation and just by having a new owner does not mean that things are going to run smoothly. I would have found alot more logic in setting up a new buisiness, new site and buying the stock from Trials-Uk. Fresh start, new name, new reputation. Whos to say there really is a new owner though? Proof would be nice.
  19. Also, when I used to wear gloves I found that the pain was alot greater as the calluses never seemed to develop fully. Not nice without gloves in the winter though.........
  20. I've been using a pair of Rhino Lites for a few years now with no problems, not had very heavy use as I havn't been riding that much. I'd say you can't go wrong with them, but I've had no experiance with the Alex rims so I couldn't compare them.
  21. I tend not to ride with gloves, and as a result I've got hard calluses which no longer hurt when riding. Its alright, just try not to carress a womens face with your palm, they might think your a lumber jack or something.
  22. TROYston I was one click away from reporting you for this through the proper channels, the only reason I didn't was fear of damaging the credibility of this forum! To try and take down any animal with an air pistol, espcially sheep is insane. Firstly, even at 7lb its underpowered. Secondly you'd never get close enough to place a clean shot on anything. Your sick.
  23. Excellent recomendation! I've had mine for about 10 years now, I think. Been an awesome gun even though I hardly use it anymore. Solid german build, once I got the sights zeroed in it was always smack on. Got a rather large silencer on mine, most of the twhack noise is from the spring, but I love the silenced look (gay). For your price range I'd definatly go for a break barrel, I would never buy a cheap C02 gun. Are you real or what? No wonder people get so scared of Airguns screaming "quick ban them" when theres numptys like you about. Your right though, it is for saftey, The whole reason they limit the air pistols to 6lb is to stop them becoming deadly, even though 6lb is more than enough to kill someone with at close range. GAWWWDD.
