8mm drill should do it. the bash the easy out in and away you go. It should tell you on the packet what size to use for each of the different easy outs.

Use the biggest easy out possible so you dont end up snapping it in the hole you have drilled. If possible, get another person to help you. Stick the easy out in the hole and twat it in with a hammer. Stick a spanner over it, and get another person to keep on hitting the easy out while your undoing it so that it keeps on gripping the bolt and doesnt come loose. should come out piss. Use them at work all the time for getting rusted in/rounded bolts out of moulding tools. The shock from hitting the tap in should crack the loctite allowing you to get it out. Have you tried sticking the allen key in and hitting it a couuple of times to try and loosen the threads?
