When I rode leeds one new year my brake froze on the way there on the back of the car (was about -1c though) :) (Y)
Then, next day the lever decided to crack .
Ye it effects me.
I usually go out straight away after having anargument with my parents. All that built up anger help with your riding, makes you throw yourself about.
I ran Koxx bloxx on a Try-all rim (mod) and it worked quite well, even though they wore the grind out straight away, but still, the brake locked up nicely. Now I am running a ronnie rim with plazzies which is quite good but sometimes doesnt lock up to well but thats only because I can't set the slaves up perfectly straight. Ohwell
Thing is though, i ride with him everyday and he never went to bash really heavy, just when he missed back wheel and slipped down abit. This is all on natural by the way, and a days riding at preston docks. I have hit my bash so many times and it not even bent, and mine is a year and a half old (Y) The elastomer and mount on the T-pro have worked just as they should, not like on Jays frame

I have abit of killswitch engage, behemoth, SOAD, prodigy :-, centinex, run dmc, asema, american headcharge, hatebreed, lamb of god, drum and base, hardcore, speedcore. Thats about it really.
It wouldn't have failed if Onza had designed that area like the T-pro. How the hell are those little pieces of rubber supposed to do anything when they are hollow, and the mount for the elastomers doesn't even go anywhere near the bash plate. One hardish hit on the bash will obviously bend it since there isn't much holding it. Also, I think Onza should have put a plate over the mount on the downtube to strengthen that area. Why did Onza change an already proven to work design to something as shit as on the T-mag?? (The bashguards can also be bent by hand with abit of force)
I hope that you understand what i'm on about, I tried to get my point out
I ordered a set of maguras last october just before they were about to close and they got to me next day. They have the best service by far and they are also very helpful and know what they are talking about (people i have spoke to anyway)
It's just down to personal preference really. My mate uses 2 fingers on the back, 1 on the front, always has and always will. I on the other hand use 1 finger on either brake lever, just makes me feel alot safer to think that i have got 4 contact points on the bar, rather than 3.
My plazies are loud as fook (trialsboy560 can vouch for that)
Only thing is is that they slip alittle bit when on edges, where my koxx browns would of held :)
I like them though, going to get some more when mine decide to die
It has done that because the mount on the downtube doesnt have a plate on it like on the t-pro, so there is nothing there for it to stop denting into the frame (have to sort of see it upclose)
I would just get another t-pro jay
