  1. Lasers by far your best and cheapest option , you should be able to get each one done for a round £40 going off the job I was quoted on recently
  2. If they were taller then they would instead raise the front end and slacken the head angle. Suprisingly these are shorter ( 320mm ) than echo Urbans ( 360mm axle to crown ).
  3. Loved that , just makes me more impatient for summer though !
  4. Ah cheers guys glad you liked it mikee, message me if you come down this way
  5. Haven't been riding half as much as I'd like , but put together some end of summer / autumnal clips on the echo 24. Anyway , hope it's to someone's liking ..... Cheers, Alex https://vimeo.com/153334657
  6. I quite liked the Breath frame, a little short for its BB height but quite a flicky fun bike. The new "control" would be my bet though, with some Trialtch High-rise bars.
  7. 1.9tdi are generally the better engine than the 2.0tdi. Passats, a4's and superbs all have known problems circa 05-08. Later common rails are supposed to be solid. Id be looking at an Audi A4 b6 1.9tdi sport 130bhp, one of the best vag derv engines they made. In my mapped 6l Ibiza 1.9tdi ( 135 ish from a 100bhp ATD ) I'll never see less than 53 mpg and up to 60mpg.
  8. Woo , new car! 2.0tdi a4 avant s-line..... Love it looking to re-map in the next month or so.... Any suggestions on where to go?
  9. Not sure on the Mini tripod but video was cool you seem a lot better toward the end ?
  10. If it isn't obviously crunching or grinding when ratcheting it, and you're unwilling to strip it entirely to check......then pop it on a bike.

Loved that, just looks like you're having so much fun on the 24!
  12. 374 a month for a 3 bedroom end of terrace , with a couple of outbuildings / sheds
  13. Press fit is a great idea in my opinion , if it works fine for headsets and even 10 year old frames that have had multiple headset changes are still going , then bottom brackets should be fine.
  14. In reply to jeff, exactly what mark said haha Cheers dman Built it and give it a pasting yesterday and seems all gravy. Loads stiffer than the tr it replaces which is always nice, and far better chain line
  15. Keeping things in line after bonding All assembled looking pretty Finished weight 184gr including bolts , which makes it the 3rd lightest Hub on tarty
  16. Soooo, front hub mk2 has been pretty well beaten and still very much in one piece so cue rear hub mk1! Widest flange spacing I could reasonably get away with ( whilst being symmetrical ) M10 ti fun bolts 7075 for shell and axle and spacers 28/30 carbon fibre shell Vudu glu to stick it all together
  17. Nope no grief whatsoever !
  18. Side hops in my opinion are largely down to how Much fast twitch muscle You have , most of the best riders of the world go from a normal position to fully preloaded to extended in a very short amount of time.
