Seems a massive amount of weight MY zona zenith(2.2kg frame) was at it's heaviest only 11.2kg, and that was with a rear echo 07 rim, echo cnc cranks, gigapipe bb and 203 BB7 Try weighing again?
Kits are around £20 here, and im sure an engineering firm would be able to help. The ship building industry i know is big out there, and helicoils are often used in marine applications.

Hmm, everyone seems to prefer the reverse mount I'll see i guess. Managed to get the steerer at an angle thanks to you Came through again thanks very much dude, was looking for this for me research
If they're reverse mount I reckon it makes sense. I've seen at least 3 pairs cracked at the top of the magura mounts. a ) nope, seems to be in fashion for natty stock riders at the moment b ) People seemed to be ridiculed for posting up snapped forks recently c ) To an extent....
