Either as long as you go for a decent set-up....I'be had both and got on really well with both. My recommendation would be MIddleburns with a TNN bash, rear ISO king orr Try-all cranks, Echo SL FFW, Trialtech ti bash, Try-all 'H' hub Thats what I'd run if it were me, the only real difference between the two is price and weight distribution really....

nearly always this...need a wee washer so the bearing preloader sits against the inner steel part of the bearing.

Looks fine in the description.....I use quite heavy grease for most stuff though

*lube / lubrication.... For general stuff I use some Red Lithium car grease...the kinda stuff you have in a caulking gun Nice'n'cheap and certainly works well.

Fluid = incompressible. Dot 4 is a revision of dot 5 ( or vice versa ) and is slightly improved in some areas. Both will be fine , and nearly definitely unnoticeable.

Weak as buggery...known for breaking No, that was the Echo 05's They flatspot very badly due to their relatively flat profile. Yes, they have massive holes....far larger than on the 07 rims. The 07s were revised with thicker sidewalls, more rounded and higher profile and a thick ridge on the rim giving them a distinctive look. They;re pretty much bulletproof but insanely heavy...

I think the new trend for lighter weight stuff can only be a good thing......the Echo TR and urban ranges have the heavy weight stuff, whereas the Sl and koxx/ monty/onza etc cater for the lightweight. Also pushes rider to be less bashy with their stuff I reckons

They ride alreet too......with the 18" wheels you can have pretty kak discs and they'll stick work really well.

Rear magura --- easier to set-up, lighter, feels nicer than a vee, better bite and adequate hold for me I use a quicksilver 2004 magura, RB blade, Coustsinks and a hope crossover

Pshh how would anyone apart from the retailer or manufacturer know that? I have the same bars but in silver ti colour...they ride much nicer, same geo as the Viz pro 720's but a tad wider Sure he did at one point?
