  1. What he meant to say was, with the amount of people riding brakeless he decided that brake mounts simply weren't needed
  2. Legend, cheers dude..much appreciated Any chance you're heading back down to old Kernow in the summer? Definitely hitting up that beachfront on the near future The quarry isn't "secret quarry" is it?
  3. Nicely done dude....mines been put on pause for the moment.
  4. Tensile 60click is the most reliable FFW i have ever used....heard nothing but good about the Echo SL though. Would be choice if i went back to FFW for sure
  5. The one I have weighs a bloody ton, don't know if it's an older one etc...but definitely a large amount heavier than a maxxis ( 150g at least )
  6. Vee....in which case you'll be using the tiresome Evo mounting system. Fitting Guide Magura Service Manual (official fitting instructions )
  7. Onza sticky fingers are horrid... The Try-all probably wear down the fastest so I'm not sure why they'd be good for a beginner? IF anything the "full time rider" should use Maxxis or Continental. Maxxis are pretty good, but the continental are just that little bit superior in pretty much every way I've found Lighter
  8. Any idea how much camping will be, and if there is any still available?
  9. Echo tyres are extremely heavy, not all that grippy and pretty dead. Definitely worth changing to Creepy Crawlers. The Echo TR bars are risers ...sooo if you're talking about the Urban bars or any other Echo flat bars I'd say change to a set of Monty 221ti/Viz pro 720/ Try-all No-war
  10. Either you took a break...or you had one hell of a growth spurt!
  11. Snapped three calipers. I'd use dual mono trials, even though my experiences of them haven't been amazing.
  12. Exactly what Nick says..that's how I bled mine
  13. They puncture reallly easily, and they aren't massively grippy. I recommend a Maxxis DH tyre for a budget, or a Continental Der Kaiser/Rain King.
  14. Great video Really enjoyed that man But...could you please tell me where those spots were?! I've never been to any of them!
  15. got pure forks, echo stem...and thats about all I can tell. Im gonna guess 9.3? Weights pretty important for me...as I'm damn small for the bike I ride
  16. Calling you out on that... Clearly an Onza t-bird tha\ts been hacked to shit. Plus the seatstay looks far too clean a break
  17. YES....i wouldn't go back from horizontal now, works ace, perfect tension all the time
  18. Washing up liquid...water...rinse and repeat
  19. I'll have a bash for you if ye want.....upload to Vimeo in the best res. possible as one big clip then give me the download link on msn alexdark2(at)hotmail.co.uk
  20. HS33 slaves, RB lever, Coustsink pads, braided cross over. Front 185mm old bb7 with XTR lever and linear slic
  21. To accomodate the masseive rear tyre the rim diameter was changed to give the same effective diameter for both wheels including tyre. This was attempted for stock by Monty with their 25" rear wheel, but this never really caught on. Probably due to riders reluctance to stop using high volume MTB tyres which more than suffice, whereas with mod there are no real suitable tyres other than real trials specifics
  22. Change cranks bash and freewheel and it'll be a very nice steed Looks tidy as is.
  23. Haven't seen that one....got the AAA one though ( access all areas ) when he's on the justice and the planet-x
