  1. The top portion of a lot of bolts is bare of thread?
  2. Want a Z3R VERY badly...awesome geo if a tad short, great weight and great price

    Bb Problem

Maybe the threaded part cant exert enough pressure to preload the bearings correctly? Try tapping them down with a rubber mallet to seat them properly? If not new bearings will be needed I reckons
  4. Ignore em Canard.... Dunno if they had any specific weak spots, but they rode fairly nice. I think youd struggle to get a good example now?
  5. 3ft = 36" used to be a fair sized.....since the old TGS revolution that seems pretty small now, the average rider nowadays can do about 40ish I thinks?
  6. Nah dont do it dude, hold out for an RB designs blade like mine. PM muel
  7. Just look around for the later more rounded blade...circa 2001ish onwards. Try posting in the wanted section
  8. Im sure that just looks like an M6 bolt
  9. Really good liam, improving very fast Ride soon wee man
  10. No worries, luckily bashplates are slowly dying out for good reason....
  11. That is a 2005 Zoo pitbull....and check your wanted topic
  12. The weld where the bash mount is affixed to the downtube of the frame gives a massive stress raiser, a build up of force, along this very small area. This can cause frames to crack....and as is widely known aluminium will fatigue and snap under ANY load as long as it is applied enough times theoretically.
  13. havent used em but I think HolyRollers are the maxxis 70a compound...so not terribly grippy, but pretty long lasting
  14. I still think conti's wear fast....best tyre for grip though
  15. dremel two flats on the side of the bb cup so you can clamp it into a vice or use mole grips etc dremel a slot so you can use a screwdriver to tap it around weld some scrap steel to the bb to turn it out ( if its steel )
  16. should be able to push the chain so it touches the stay. If you can't then it's definitely too tight:) A tight chain will accelerate sprocket and chain wear, and a loose one may cause skipping.
  17. Exactly what skoze said Chain is upside down
  18. Echo External or internal? If its an IRB bottom bracket youre probably a bit buggered.....some BB's you can change their bearings if they're normal cartridge units such as used on the try-all / rest BB's
  19. Tensiles on ebay are so cheap for what you get.... echo cnc's are pretty much bombproof and burns are probably the best non FFW cranks out there for trials
  20. Ulimate hardware are pretty cheap generic mtb stuff...is this off ebay?
