  1. Try-all 3d stem is a good call, the one I tried on a proto onza stock ( 1080, +50 ) felt really damned good. Tyres wise... Kenda small block eight or try-all stiky up front. Der kaiser rear if you want ultimate puncture protection and can afford it, minion if your budgets a tad lower, and kenda nevegal folding 2.5 stick-e if you ride smooth
  2. Cheaper though... Personally it seems like step backwards in a few respects... Mod stock spacing Bland and uninteresting graphics. The red and orange sky were works of art! Not a really low weight? 1.6kgs is more average nowadays...
  3. Sounds like your bolts are bottoming out., get a link of chain, take out the little roller and use that as a spacer washer on the bolt. Sorted
  4. Be easier using a file and hacksaw. Thats the way I'd do it
  5. Zhi Z3r, attempting to buy one at the moment. With your height I wouldn't go for anything longer
  6. Why in hell did they decide to do this?!
  7. No-one wins... but for what it's worth, a t-pro is pretty much the only mod I would ride
  8. Calling you out on that 9.1kgs bike looks cool though
  9. Personally, I'd either stump up the extra £300 for the Koxx levelboss on tarty, or buy a second hand bike. You'll just end up replacing 90% of the above bike relatively quickly otherwise. In answer to the shifter question, you woul dhave to lock out the rear mech, then remove the cables and shifter.
  10. Got them...pretty nice, seem fairly strong. very stiff, but in my opinion too long
  11. cool beans Fair old bit of improvement, new bike looks a lot better, and sprog is obviously thriving on the competition
  12. Hey all, just wondering if theres anyone that lives in / close to northampton that fancies a ride ont he 27th onwards? Im staying in kettering
  13. my thoughts exactly.... if som, ething does break then just fix it, theres no point trying to pre-empt it
  14. google search came up with this...slightly disturbing
  15. Rockman only use a generic rebranded XC rotor, as made by alligator and ashima so i dont think it would be fair to call it a fake? They work pretty well, but to be honest I wouldnt have said they're any better, the mono trial rotors are certainly good enough I'll have a look at your brake tomorrow martin and see if i can do anything with it.
  16. All hs33-compatible pads fit the echo rim brakes
  17. Negative, I got stuck twice even thought the above was true, If you can get a CK cheap that works really well, then do it. If not then fork out the readies for a decent FFW setup and be happy you've done the best thing possible
  18. Tonnes, oh and the night mode is pretty epic too Check out the night mode video, and something like Coustellier Video 6 Vimeo Album
  19. oh i agree, just could be useful if you were really in the shit with a loose flappy chain
  20. Sounds about right dude
  21. Stop getting so shirty... Woody was only asking, because if you broke it from doing something retarded a new brake wouldn't cure this. To that end I'd say source an 04 magura, but that's just my 2 cents
  22. Plug it into here: CLICK
  23. maybe worth taking a look at in case you're ever stuck in the lurch.....broken snail cam or snapped spoke tensioner etc. No I havent used it, but thought it could be useful Pinkbike linky
