  1. Sorry man, I only had two shit ones of myself! I'm doing another video with the locals, so come out tomorrow with us
  2. So, thought I'd post some pictures up of the coustellier that I'm riding at the moment, I've done a bit of work recently to it, with the custom bash and tweaked front hub Front magura, matching clamps.... Maguras I refurbished and resprayed recently, really pleased with the finish. Front rim was also white Custom 'burns bash Front of the steed Rear brake setup...real cousts Front hub Specification: Koxx Coustellier V2 frame, at the moment: 1108, 382, +40, 71.5, 680mm reach ( massive! ) Try-all nuc forged stem ( 125x25 , but actually 117 x 25 ) Viz pro 720 bars Tensile ace headset Trialtech magura only forks Front Wheel: Kenda small block eight, maxxis standard tube, Try-all h0le rim, sapim double butted spokes, onza pro series hub ( machined out internally, with a cnc lathed 6082 t6 axle, and Echo tr-esque spacers and axle washers. Ended up saving 60gr I think, but it was out of necessity as I had to learn to use the CNC lathe at work anyway ) Rear wheel: Echo 07 front rim, square holed and with 128 holes around the spoke nipples in the inner wall (15gr heavier than a try-all H0le! ) , DT swiss plain gauge spokes, Chris King classic, Surly cog, homemade spacer kit and Alloy lockring, Continental Der Kaiser tyre, maxxis superlight tube. Middle burn RS7 arms, what was once a 22t superpro bash, custom lathed and milled to take a drilled 18t cassette cog. Lighter than a TNN steel bash FSA platinum pro BB KMC kool chain ( changed to a K610HX now ) Spokey tensioner Rear magura HS33 quicksilver, Echo TR clamps, Milled down RB lever, real coust pads in plastic, light grind. Rear magura HS33 quicksilver, Echo CNC clamps, milled down RB lever, Heatsink cousts in CNC, light grind Full bike weight as it stands is a smidge over 9.4Kgs Really tempted to try a lighter tyre on the back, despite having a spare Rain King. Going to put some Alloy bolts on the magura, new rear rim is on it's way to me too
  3. Actually a really nice bike to ride this, the high BB makes it feel absurdly light
  4. haha wait till Jake gets in on it Aw, thanks for that dude! There will be two more from me in the next week or so if all goes well
  5. Used to be little James, but now you're the only pint-sized mod rider....
  6. ah no worries, a bit of exploring is on the cards then
  7. So, I kinda took a back seat on this one and let the better riders from our little group get on with it! Edited by me as always.... This is pretty much a "return" video for our very own KarsonLevoret / Rich Pearson after his 6months or so off, so I was pretty impressed! Anyway, enough gibbering, theres a link below click
  8. My Coustellier Video 2?
  9. that's fair enough, coincidentally exactly the same set-up I run on the Coustellier Should ride lovely though, hope you enjoy it!
  10. That has to have the longest reach of any frame? My Coustellier is absolutely huge at 680mm, and thats 10mm longer! Can't imagine how stretched out that must be. I actually quite like the look of it, if i had the money id 100% buy one of these though.... I mean you're getting a try-all bike kit with a frame for practically nothing! bargain
  11. Ah sounds great, I can get a lift to Northampton station so could do Brum Awesome, know any decent spots?
  12. sorry, but music was horrendous. So distorted for me it was untrue. Riding was pretty good, but much preferred your earlier videos
  13. YES! Was looking for this this morning. Lush video, mightily envious of locations, riding skill and editing
  14. in the other picture he was running a "125 x25" that actually measures at about 117mm. Super low front end surely?
  15. heh no worries dude... Watch some slowmo stuff of benito backwheeling stuff, the way he lunges into the bars the wrenches his weight backwards to lift the bike up. Also, try and make you and your bike follow the wall as you go up, instead of flying at an angle into it. This means you effectively have to travel a smaller distance.
  16. You can backwheel 48"?! I wouldn't have thought you needed much advice if that were true dude. Pretty massive backwheel there
  17. Try-all 3d stem is a good call, the one I tried on a proto onza stock ( 1080, +50 ) felt really damned good. Tyres wise... Kenda small block eight or try-all stiky up front. Der kaiser rear if you want ultimate puncture protection and can afford it, minion if your budgets a tad lower, and kenda nevegal folding 2.5 stick-e if you ride smooth
  18. Cheaper though... Personally it seems like step backwards in a few respects... Mod stock spacing Bland and uninteresting graphics. The red and orange sky were works of art! Not a really low weight? 1.6kgs is more average nowadays...
  19. Sounds like your bolts are bottoming out., get a link of chain, take out the little roller and use that as a spacer washer on the bolt. Sorted
  20. Be easier using a file and hacksaw. Thats the way I'd do it
