  1. I'm with Ali, that sounds absolute shit on paper! God knows why they didn't just copy the Hope lever?!
  2. Just do it yourself, one 3/32nd allen key is all thats needed ( or 2 5mm if you have the QR axle )
  3. Basically all the above, and if that still doesnt work, file a bit off those little nubs on the bottom of the mount where they compress together.
  4. I've done it 3 times with a mill. Went in sideways with a 4 flute end mill. Probably the only way I'd choose to do it, but only because I have access to the kit About 20 seconds in on the video below.
  5. Ive completely lost my bottle recently, especially with sidehops. No idea what to do about it
  6. How deep is deep?! What pads are you running, and most importantly what rim?
  7. Clicky, nay purple that I can see though.
  8. 145 x 25 I thinks? Bike looks lovely, prefer that to the white colour way
  9. Take ALL the old brake off the bike, including the adaptor. Bolt new BB5 in place, done
  10. It actually is lol...Hopefully i'll get her fixed though! Nah, I can't stand Vee's personally.
  11. Righto, two identical RB designs Magura levers. Both leaked when I got them so I bought some new o-rings. Changed both sets of seals, now one leaks like a dog ( we're talking 5 lever pulls and fluid loss is noticeable from the back of the piston ) and one works perfectly; used it for a whole day of riding! I can't seem to see any scores or scratches on the barrel either . The only solution I could think of is the following ; rather long winded I know: Get the barrel internally bored on a lathe a few thou's of a mm to take out the scratches that MUST be there / polish the barrel somehow. Make a brand new piston out of some Acetyl ( a bearing plastic ) on the CNC lathe at work. Buy and install some V seals ( same style as used on a Hope brake ) maybe two on each brake for security. Of course, the piston would be designed around the v seals if i can even get hold of them. Is that a good way to go? Or is there any special polishing etc I can do to try and make the bloody thing hold water? Feedback and input especially appreciated from Adam@tarty , Forteh and Matt Vandart! If anyone has any ideas please share I'm really desperate to get the pair working again!

Unless you're buying something like a King, id just buy something new unless the perfect item pops up in great condition. For example: click this seems good value.
  13. I actually can't comprehend how this is 2kgs lighter than my bike Looks cool and the weights amazing for a stock!
  14. I clean mine in pretty much the same way, but use fairy liquid and water for the outside and 3in1 to lube it
  15. Magura slaves have M8 and M6 fittings ( olive and barb ) One slave has M8 / M6 ( for the main line and crossover ) the other has M6/M6 ( for the crossover and bleed screw ). You have two choices: 1. Cut the main line at the required place, and splice the part running to the lever into the top of the splitter, and the remaining bit going to the slave 1 into one of the other part of the splitter. Then, remove the crossover from slave 1, and replace with a bleed bolt. The other slave needs the crossover cutting down so there is only one barb remaining, one end stays in the M6/M6 slave 2 and the other goes to the hose splitter. 2. Cut the crooss over in half and pres each end into the bottom of the splitter connections. Now cut the main line shorter and press into the top tee connection. The m8/M6 slave will have to be replaced with an M6/M6 slave so each slave has one bleed bolt, and one barbed connection screwed into it. Either way will work, its just a case of if you have a spare slave that's M6/M6 or not.
  16. True as well! Least ive still got taps to hold over all the mod riders Er yeh man that would be cooool
  17. A mate of mine snapped my Echo Lites in exactly the same place
  18. Measure your bearings then google the dimensions to get the code.
  19. 60002rs... ebay £1.60 each 6000 = bearing size, 2 rs = 2 rubber seals
  20. ooooh I run 18:16 because I have wee legs, shortly changing to 16:14 for a tiny bit more power. Bike looks amazing, and you have one hell of a girlfriend!
  21. video looks great Liam, you've really come on in the last month or so... controls right up there and you're technique is really good. Better than me in a month if you carry on this way
  22. Offset mounts then...I really wouldn't recommend running rear disc on a stock unless you've got 3x build, a really well designed disc ready frame and a Hope on the back!
