  1. get a nice begginber trials bike( rigid forks around 0bb rise, shortish frame,) and you'll pick stuff up in no time at all
  2. gearcable should be around £1..and the chain?..anywhere from £5-10...get a kmc off supercycles.co.uk for £6
  3. nice....aseveryones already said...silver v8s and you're onto a winner
  4. officially the best looking 24 .... white is such a stunning colour...shame you dont have the eisbar hs33s then it would really look amazing!

i reckon some green echo cranks, headset and clamps would make that bike look even nicer than it does now ( to go with the stickers )
  8. shit, man...that looks bad, looks like the bearing race inside the Freewheel isnt in the right place!
  9. yeh right...full face seems a bit ott for trials !
  10. thats cool...i take it these arent the ones you were using a while ago then...
  11. exactly as trials pimp said....i use a light smear of vaseline on the rubber o ring on the cylinder to ensure a good seal
  12. that....is lovely Ive never seen a ghz before, such a nice paint job....really similar to the dmr ox-blood colour Didn't that rear atomlab rim weigh about half a ton? My friends wheelset ( atomlab ) is sooo heavy it's untrue!
  13. why the hell does he keep bumping old topics?! ( CRANK BRO ) And, yes it would look quite abit nicer with a bit less blue...eg silver bash
  14. are the tensiles in ok condition? i mean do they actually work or are they really loose on the splines? i know about the angle grinder cut.. and as for the pads.... i have no idea at all...theyre in the post atm
  15. Ill give you a pair of koxx reds and £5(or a subway to the value of)....
  16. http://www.sheldonbrown.com/gears/ Have a look at that^ for example...a typical stock gearing would be 26" wheel, 170mm cranks, 18t front cog, 16t rear that gives you 29.7 GI ( gearinches) Normal mod gearing is usually 18:12 or 18:13 although one of my friends who's a begginer runs 20:18 which is a joke to be honest
  17. or you could just adjust the limit screws inwards to hold the mech A lot of cheaper cassettes dont have allen key bolts...so have a browse throught the wiki...its best just to use a locked out mech and a peoper single speed spacer and cog kit like this: http://tiny.cc/DMR
  18. ill swap you a pair of koxx reds for your cranks?
  19. my thoughts exactly...just try out both..although i would have though that a stock ( 26" ) would suit you better leave the text talk to msn please .....
  20. pretty cool pictures...is that an 04 pitbull i spy?

  23. Hi, as you live in plymouth might i suggest you come along for the march 1st plymouth ride? you can try out some bikes and get to know some local riders...theres about 10 of us going and we're meeting at copthorne hotel at around 10.30 on saturday
  24. first of all...use the search function ; theres been loads of topics on this... try these: http://tiny.cc/MV6xH or http://tiny.cc/g1ORx or http://tiny.cc/lx6AU or http://tiny.cc/NiCcV << this ones meant for smaller riders, which may not be suitable or http://tiny.cc/Gn5JJ The onza t-pro is widely regarded as one of the best value starter mods available at the moment. The yabaa range ( by french giant koxx ) is set to give onza a run for its money, and are very competitively specced. The best thing you can do, however, is to trawl through ebay...loads of bargains come up there, ot get yourself validated on this forum and look at the classifieds section
