  1. zoo pads are supposed to work pretty well on a smooth rim...im using koxx browns at the moment as a front brake, as i do stoppies...buts its really personal preference; i think koolstops work the best
  2. its gone: silver, black, white soo....next i think will be real colours, green, blue orange etc...we havent had trials bikes done in "proper" colours for a long while
  3. hhmm..i trust the brand of mr.muscle you'll have to give me a free sample
  4. looks fit there...but after haviing a ride on it ive realised i really dont like front ends that low!...mind you, i have got 2cm of stackers on mine with a 30* stem, which is a bit of overkill for a +35mm bb rise bike! Yours is a beast on the back wheel though
  5. god knows...maybe he wnats a more streety rig? Seems like abit of a downgrade to me though
  6. search works wonders when you use it, eh? http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....mp;hl=base+ta26 http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....mp;hl=base+ta26 http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....mp;hl=base+ta26 http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....mp;hl=base+ta26 http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....mp;hl=base+ta26
  7. why thankyou! If anyone wants stuff de-anodised and cant be bothered...drop me a pm and ill do it for a reasonable price!
  8. looks pretty nice in white...bikes always do, not too into the uber low front end though...always feels like im picking the front end up by the fork legs!
  9. the chances are there'll be somewhere selling the titanium axles... They look pretty pimp and dont weigh much...but seem a lot of money for not that much weight loss if im honest!
  10. looks lovely, beauty paint job as well

    My Bike

nice...i like it, oldskools the way forwards!
  12. it just doesnt make sense bleeding an hs33 with anything other than water to be honest...its free, easy to get hold of, only reportedly does a small amount of easily rectifiable damage to said hydraulic brake, it gives a lighter lever feel, no need to worry if your brake starts leaking-water wont corrode paintwork or dissolve grease
  13. interesting idea...though i doubt it'd take off to be honest
  14. id try decontaminating the pads and rotor: just boil them in water for a while then wipe all the gunky stuff that comes off them...then sand both pads and rotor to get the last of any contaminants off
  15. theres loads of "senior" riders on here....the oldest are around mid 40's so you're hardly old compared....i cant really see anyone being too old to do trials though!
  16. it does look a bit rushed together...spray the frame, or get some parts that dont clash! Or better still, oven cleaner your bash and other ano bits and it'll look nicer!
  17. thats a great idea..im sure id find something to ride...would they fit in your van though? does anybody want to ride the weekend after?...i should have some new forks by then, and be in shape, and be free to ride..so all good
  18. either a t-pro new...or a second hand pimped t-pro off here or ebay would be your best bet
  19. bear in mind you'll have to buy a modstock rear wheel, or change your hub and probably spokes to suit
  20. welding an aluminium frame without heat treating it is never going to be as strong as before...with proper heat treatin it would, theoretiucally, be the same strength again...but the likelihood of finding someone to heat-treat it for a resonable price is fairly small!
  21. most frames that use a tried and tested design eg the coust copy are fairly sound i would have thought, its only really when manufacturers completely change a frame that it might not hold up? T-raptors were hardly weak were they? i mean akkers rode one for ages
  22. i dont really understand whats supposed to be rubbing...i think he rides an a1
  23. adamant looks lovely...bit common though, and i just love the hifi headtube...
