boil the pads and rotor...clean at intervals of 5 minutes...sand pads when finished and it should be a bit better... Sounds like the disc brake is pretty poor anyway...you can pick up something along the lines of a hayes mx-2 for pretty cheap now, you'd be best off with one of those
im thinking a different stem is needed to be honest...sounds light as fook, i never had any problems when i was running knifen forks ( 1.7kgs ) on my pitbull.....and when i changed to my echo urbans there was some difference...but not a vast amount
Heres my 04 pitbull, up for sale incidentally.... 385cs, 1070 wb Oh, and the brake lines can be bought from me for £10 a time ...... barbs and shroud nuts are needed though asim unable to find a supplier at the moment...they come in green ( zoo sticker green ), red and blue
come on...put a bit more effort in to your replies, especially when someone's trying to help you! Erm, drill stuff, grind stuff, lighter parts, radial lace wheels, ti bolts, no rim tape( not really a part ), foam grips, titanium holes, fill with helium
in college at the moment....last day until easter holiday thank god.... Bit of a naff topic to be honest... You plymouth people,,,fancy coming to the 22nd march ride? 10.30 copthorn, saturday...be there or be..........rectangular
seems your on your own there buddy... they're great beginner bikes, if a little short.....well worth £200 , id buy it if it wasn't the wheel size of beelzebub himself
tars awesome stuff...just dont put too much on otherwise you might make your brakes stick on... you'll have vastly improved bite and hold, and the wear life on your pads will be vastly decreased. Oh, and your brake will not, i repeat, will not work for shizz in the wet, due to the tar seeming to turn into an oily substance Just grind your rim and get some grind specific pads when you can be nothered...theres no real urgency to be honest
deng bikes ( echo, koxx , zoo, gu ) are the most popular in mod bikes now. The geo has shifted to shorter chain stays, longer wheelbases and higher bottom bracket height. Neatly all of the deng frames are extremely durable now, so you wont go wrong with one. Bikes ahve got a fair bit lighter, id say on average mods are around 1/2kg lighter than when you quite.....dengs are heavy, whereas comp bikes like montys and koxxs are considered light. The gu 08 is a lot longer than the levelboss so should be better for most pure trialsy things...depends whether you rode street or natural really.
