  1. I made one for myself out of 1mm think alloy chequer plate and some foam...worked a treat Apparently leisure lakes are going to stock an armourdillo style frame protector soon

  3. I really dont like the look of them , but they're pretty damn nice to ride....soo much better than the stock version ( typhoon )

  6. vertical dropouts = has a gear hanger for mounting a rear mech or chain tensioner horizontal dropouts = perfect chain tension hence no need for a tensioner

  11. ive always ridden stock and really like it...i cant see myself ever going to a mod...they just seem so small and cramped, i might consider a 24" but thats the smallest id go....id definitely say mods are better for beginners though, or younger ( smaller ) people
  12. holy rollers are quite good...but i really like he maxdaddy's...not sure if you can get them in 26" though

  14. Im using a michelin dry xc atm...the kevlar folding one...weighs a silly amount and grips pretty well
  15. erm... when i was first learning, i pulled a small wheelie of aledge, cant have been more than 2ft...dropped the nose a bit too far and tweaked the bars slightly....front wheel hit the ground and pitched me forwards, smacked me c*ck...and cut me foreskin...yay! So there ladies and gentlemen...dont get complacent and stop putting effort in!

  17. take the whole thign apart...clean all the grease off the pawls etc, then stretch the springs ...put it all back together and oil it up with 3 in one or similar,
