  1. bike looks nice...about ten billiuon times better than the raleigh..get some risers on the giant and it'll be lovely..., oh and chop down the rear brake bolts....spacing them with m5 nuts isnt a great look
  2. Id personally run maguras front and rear with a good front freewheel setup ( tensile, eno etc )
  3. front and rear hs33s on my pitbull and woodstock, front vee and rear magura on my trek
  4. no i havent, although i was thinking about trying one...but i dont have one anyone got any good ideas as to how to make a tool for it?
  5. Basically, got given a frame with one of these bb's in it: http://www.simplythebike.co.uk/product_inf...3fi26b9gc2e76p1 And i need to get it out asap...anyone got any ideas apart from going to LBS ( which ill do on saturday ) Ive tried: screwdriver on the drive side ( i know its reverse threaded ) Clamping bb shell in vice...and nothings worked Any ideas? Anyone have a tool i could borrow?
  6. he's just an absolute beast....just makes everything look so easy..and effortless
  7. i think the idea is a serial number can be ground off....whereas this is designed to not be found... Quite a good idea...although i would personally stamp my initials some where weird on the bike.....like on the inside of one of the two top-tube braces on my pitbull
  8. well when you overbleed it....the pistons stick out farther than they normally would ( when the levers not being pulled ) If you add to that full on tpa ( bolt bodged one ) you could prbably make the pads reach past the prongs...making the brake a bit on the lethal side....hows about some tensile offset mounts?
  9. possibly.....just double side sticky tape it on!
  10. yep...tis pretty much a pointless excercise im afraid....PBO or rainbow TI spokes are where its at
  11. the pads wont fall out...unless the pdas extend farther than the prongs on the slaves...which would require insane over bleeding to achieve
  12. aha i know who that is...plymouth university advertising...07 echo pure, andrei burton riding down some books on a poster...got one of the flyers

  15. ive used heatsink xmas pads and koxx browns with tar...both have been pretty good... To appl;y tar, spin the rear wheel, and hold the tar against it until theres a thin line around the wheel If you need some, pm me
  16. i might actually try that tomorrow....plus it looks alot better to boot
  17. exactly..short frame, medium length chain stays, around zero bb ...perfect for a beginner...my mates just got a t-raptor and i really like it....personal choice i suppose but i think they're sweet frames for the money
  18. yeha, its getting th eyounger generation involved...well done andrei
  19. hence why i suggested it....
  20. you can change it back, its just some kind of option..ill paint you a picture
  21. They're virtually bombproof...however if you dont already have one i wouldn't hedge your bets on actually being able to source a good one as they arent being made any more and are fairly rare....probably a dx32 would be your best bet as there are quite a few floating round at the moment
  22. pretty damn good; even better than the last uni video...... the sj#kills on the mod were pretty impressive as well....nice one!
  23. er, the FFW version is only meant to be used on the front; however tensile do sell a version for use on the back , bmx stylee
