  1. good little bike that dude, looks swish
  2. im not exatcly heavy...etc, but i do like a nice working brake...and i do tend to rely on it. with my echo im grinding once a month because my grind gets so covered in muck all the time as i have to ride 3+ miles down muddy back lanes to my riding spot
  3. i dont really mind grinding...but surely wont that weaken it far faster? I'm using coust cnc'd if that makes any differnece whatsoever
  4. ideal, thanks dude...ill just see waht anyone else says, but i think im going to have to use the tryall
  5. so you think it'll be fine with my riding? to be fair woody...you are felix mucke standard smooth, so you could probably run dual x519s and get away with it
  6. My current bike has nly cost me £250 to build up... echo rear wheel, zenith frame, zoo bars, echo stem / h.set, meta front wheel 203 bb7, viz forks, echo cnc cranks, tensile FFW etc... Just find a nice frame, and build up slowly wioth bargains off here...or buy a complete bike off here or ebay
  7. Right, completely noobish question : Should i use an Echo rear rim or try-all? Rims being the 07 echo urban, or the newer try-all 47mm. I don't *think* im a basher, but i am going bigger now, and im not the 100% smoothest rider around...although i wouldnt consider myself one of the harshest. I ride street, both tgs and real streety stuff. Had a try-all first, no problems with that although only dropped around 6/7ft on it...then changed to echo 07 which i got for free. So looking to change to a colour-coded, better condition rim. So, would a try-all hold up? both pretty much as new mind...i just dont want to have to case this try-all to find out. I'm doing up to 10ft drops at the moment, u to 7ft static gaps etc, so im not going huge yet. Anyone got any advice for me please? May as well whack a little vote up. I've got both to hand at the moment mind. 170g difference is the main reason I'd try the try-all. Edit: Please put reasons though, not just "echo is da best" oh, and if you know me and my riding style etc, please answer this

yeh just give them a bell, or an email...always been quick to respond to me
  9. the frame coimes with a tensioner anyway; so thats all good
  10. no way.....hans rey, the legend....be immense if he comes, wonder what he'll think of the TGS kids though
  11. http://picasaweb.google.com/44cycles/NewFo...009232086196770 Sh*t me i want a white one
  12. my thoughts exactly...nice looking bike, get some graphics on there though
  13. entirel depends what you want from a frame....i think you should be able to narrow it down to max 3 frames..else you probably have no idea as to wahts best for you. Eg long/short...bb height, cs length etc
  14. looks cool...i reckon a cross between a levelboss and a rex... 3 geometry options? weird...
  15. thats off skate perception im sure....
  16. I'd say the smallest hifi stem, so 110 by 10* i think.
  17. select is on of the best shops over here, yes it is trials uk with the bad rep now. A front echo rim on the back should be fine.
  18. Ideally you want a strong, lightweight rim. Ideally 32 hole with thick sidewalls(lightweight, holds grinds / doesn't dent easily ) . Make sure you have a nice tight build though, preferably with brass nipples due to the high amounts of truing that can come with riding trials. To be honest you're best off getting either a try-all or echo rear rim, the using pretty much anything light over 25mm wide on the front. As for tyres id say minimum 2.00" on the front; 2.3" on the back...maximum, 2.35" front, 2.5" rear. Try talking to Trisandhisbt on here, he's from the Northants. I used to live there as well, and ill be up for a week or so at Easter.
  19. goo shit, man...easily your best video; and frame seems to suit your style. in conclusion, good shit
  20. id personally go for a front echo rim...insane strength, but lighter and more likely to fit. If this is still too wide, yoi can easily use tensile offset mounts for your maguras, to nring the slaves farther away from the rim Most people'll probably tell you to get an alexdx32 for that build though.
  21. yes....for example the largest hifi stem ( used on the +55 adamant, typhoon etc ) is basically a mod stem... Although for a t-rex you'd be best looking at a 110 mm stem, probably 15* rise
  22. Usually im all fo people having a go...but at least get a decent amount of footage
