  1. "MERLIN WHEELBUILDS ARE SH...." Smithwheels, the wheelbuild james wishes he'd used for that drop Haha, classic I would put a serious post in this thread...but for me riding/rides/the scene in general has just got better, apparently there were glory days, but i hadn't even heard of trials then ...
  2. basically due to how accurately the threads are machined...in general a higher end freewheel will have less "float" than say a cheap dicta.
  3. yeh she's a bit of a beast..strong as fook though
  4. seems like it'd be easier to count who's not coming to this ride seems like less than ten at the moment
  5. looks far better than the adamant, nice one
  6. No way you'll snap that...its 6mm thick alloy plate, ridiculously strong...
  7. i reckon pure white......would look amazing
  8. dmr v8s fo sho.....v12s are overpriced and develop play quite quickly, wellgo v8 copies snap easily....caged vps just twist / blunt / don't grip Also, the "pimp my pedal kits" do not use, they've got alloy pins instead of steel, so wear down horrendously quickly...plus all the anodising wears off in about a week or two
  9. 18:16 for me.... roughly approximates to 18:15 on 175's though
  10. the later rex is an amazing frame, slack head-angled lower bb coust frame; but bombproof. The older rex, well that's an unknown quantity for a lot of people; around 1040 length, minus 5 bb height and around 390cs i think? I wouldn't recommend this bike for starting though, would be quite a pig on the back wheel for a beginner...zebdi-ish geo i think, okay for a seasoned streety rider though seen the user that bought this bike ends in 1978..same as your birth year; so im going to assume you've bought this...bit pointless me posting the above, but oh well
  11. im going to assume he knows him.... If you dont get it heat-treated, the aluminium is around 80% weaker due to the structure of the metal becomign changed during the welding process.. Welding and heat treating should cost around £35 i'd say...
  12. seconded, cant stand that colour, looks horrid..
  13. koxx basically = t-pro Amazing frames none the less though....strong as fook, lush geometry. The echo's bound to be stronger, but i wouldn't have thought by a huge amount....so id say go for the koxx
  14. theres a few moto-trials magazines, but sadly no bike-trials magazines in print at the moment
  15. righto, try-all it is...if i have any problems with it ill build the echo up...thanks for everyone's help
  16. "mmm young boys....." good vid boys...
  17. I would go for one, but... Ive got a brand new try-all eand echo sitting in my room, and the trilatech doesn't come in red
