  1. i run a 2 bolt on the back of my zenith ( although the brake area of that is basically a cnc-d lump )and im more than happy with it. Had a 4-bolt on the zoo pitbull, and that was fine also...depends on which booster you go for, and on which frame. I'd say only really flexy frame need a 4 bolt booster, although the use of an aftermarket lever blade (read : longer / more braking force ) may facilitate the need for a stiffer braking area, and therefore booster.
  2. pretty nice frames to ride, but i quote someone off forum ( cant remember who now ) " the fraems obviously been designed by an artist not an engineer"...due to the lack of s-bends int he chainstays and seat stays....partly resulting in a lot of the cracking around this area. So if you do have, it'd be advisable to whack a booster on there to prolong frame life
  3. id say pure as well , far nicer riding frames in my opinion Edit: ride at least one of them...or just generally have a go on other peoples bikes, to try and work out what geo you're looking for in a frame
  4. 219 bars are damn strong, although look a but in my opinion
  5. it's pretty much a case of what tarty say's go's
  6. sounds like all the pawls have destroyed themselves...hopefully a warranty replacement, if not...time for a new hub
  7. well, if you have tensile cranks you can....but it is just about possible with a tensile FFW and echo cnc cranks, and a bash
  8. seems mighty darn complicated think ill stick with water, although do post up if it is completely successful
  9. 100-120mm stem, mid rise, wide bars but with a fair bit of rise
  10. im eagerly awaiting the "meek - justice"
  11. supposed to be pretty good and strong from what ive heard..same as this though im fairly sure http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_inf...;products_id=31
  12. bigman...your bodges might as well have been factory made....awesome job on the rims as usual
  13. ive got echo cnc cranks, gu bash, truvativ gigapipe dh bb (128) and a tensile FFw....and it still rubs, no way to make it fit. Tensile cranks, or new bb would solve it, but it's sort of groubd itself a little groove in my oh so soft bb shell so all's good.
  14. "MERLIN WHEELBUILDS ARE SH...." Smithwheels, the wheelbuild james wishes he'd used for that drop Haha, classic I would put a serious post in this thread...but for me riding/rides/the scene in general has just got better, apparently there were glory days, but i hadn't even heard of trials then ...
  15. basically due to how accurately the threads are machined...in general a higher end freewheel will have less "float" than say a cheap dicta.
  16. yeh she's a bit of a beast..strong as fook though
  17. seems like it'd be easier to count who's not coming to this ride seems like less than ten at the moment
  18. looks far better than the adamant, nice one
  19. No way you'll snap that...its 6mm thick alloy plate, ridiculously strong...
