  1. either vp ( onza/tryall/monty etc ) caged pedals...[remove the inner cage]...or platform pedals, dmrv8/v12s or onza hognesiums
  2. would have thought that frame would be around.....2.3kgs maybe?
  3. When you bed a brake in, you're removing the top layer of pad material, helping it match itself to the contours of the disc, and thus provide more surface area for brake pad/rotor contact. The water helps remove these tiny particles from the pads.
  4. what has the fact that they're urbans got anything to do with it? theyre hardly weak exactly.... the stress risers are where they meet the headset, where the fork is inside the frame, theres not a huge amount of stress present .eg.... headset cup- ]| frame |[headset cup
  5. tanky frames but decent geo I wouldn't say they tapped hugely well, being a mod and all.... I still prefer a t-pro though in terms of geo and weight
  6. viz forks are brilliant...far superior to koxx forks in terms of strength and stiffness in my opinion
  7. nice bike dude, i know one of the guys that rides for phase...they're great bikes to ride, really playful and flicky
  8. rockman maladie are very strong, and very light....uber high bb though and huuuge, so take some getting used to. Id assume the zo lynx would be best overall? Onza ice's are supposed toi be moderately weak, going from what ive heard recently
  9. hey got a pair of the fluorescent yellow raceline old shape maguras

looking for £80 posted for them, msn me if interested

  10. thats all the geo you need.... the wheelbase is dependanmt on forks
  11. real coust's pssssh the tnn pads are comparable to the real cousts....just die in a few weeks :| damn straight.....
  12. very, very impressed...extremely good riding, you've progressed very quickly nicely done
  13. yep me too.... contaminated to shit 203mm bb7 and its still amazingly good
  14. i think it had to be that...or a VERY bent cog...anyway, you should hgave really remedied it before it went through just get it welded and get a few more months out of it...i would
  15. f**k the bed i actually love that!
  16. looks miiiint, spray that front rim, get some monty bars and your onto a real winner there. ride soon...... EDIT: forks are toxsin, i thinks
  17. of coruse it is...same as having grippier tyres that help you grip to objects... Some peopel use "pixie boots" e.g Ribo and try-all...although these are more comp-orientated. Most people just use skate shoes, that what i use anyway.
  18. The man speaks truth had a go on joe seddon;s limey....and its lush, just a slightly shorter version of my coust -perfect in my book
  19. not much force if you do it inbetween the headset cups...the main stress risers are on the legs, magura mounts, disc mounts, in line with the lower headset, in line with top headset cup. Id say thats the safest place to remove some material, apart from the dropouts.
  20. bike looks mint, ive just built one up and loving it good work there
  21. Alex Dark

kmc kool for sure skinny one though
  22. i think theyre more of a mtb company to be fair :| go to the topic on member's chat..... have you had a king before?
  23. If i were you, id just true the rotor with an adjustable spanner...and get some new pads, whack some piccys up of the old ones and im sure someone can help
