  1. Its kinda a knack and timing thing. When you get good at it you can have an object between your wheels under your bb and go to rear on it without pedalling.
  2. A wheelswap/wheel replace/pigeon? Or are you talking with both wheels level?
  3. I think its good, not exactly anything massive there but for tech rocks its cool. Yeah go to Westbay alot.
  4. Fair one - I used the 'try-all' branded one as most of the BMX ones (Shadow etc) have holes in and I've snapped them before. Never had one come apart on me using the split link, though, that seems to work well. Its just the actual link shearing in half. I'll live with a slack chain.
  5. I dunno why it did it, but I ran a half link (with split link a la Stan as explained above) and the half link sheared in half after just under a month. I refuse to use them now... But then Stan has had good results so maybe I got bad one, or just ride my bike more than Stan rides his Sky
  6. If it says 'Downhill dual ply butyl insert' or something along those lines its dual ply. if not, its single.
  7. Its my answer to everything. But yeah mainly to the sharp edges thing. Think about preloading and springing up. Try and compress your tyre into the ground.
  8. They can be flushed out with GT85 if it has shit in it or you got water in it.
  9. The rattle is a feature of the non-sealed bearings. Nothing to worry about. It feels less smooth probably because of the stronger action of the springs on the pawls. Again, nothing to worry about.
  10. Haha thats cool, I remeber you from London rides in like 2000 back in the day.
  11. Nick Saunders as in first generation Koxx Levelboss with green stickers and red walled IRC tyres? Rad vid.

It get exponentially harder though. Easy to do a 6 foot flat to flat gap. But adding an inch onto that gets harder and harder as it gets bigger. This is a bullshit topic anyway.
  13. Excuse me for asking, whats your background? How long have you been riding and that? From the UK or abroad?
  14. This is my only issue with this frame. Its designed to run that very popular gear 18:16. I just have a slack chain, I'd rather have a brake that works. I replace my chain prety often too.
  15. DOB mag rim would be OK if you're very light/very smooth. XC rims would be ok if you're not bothered about having the width to resist rolling on natural and stuff. I'd rather run a lighter hub on Hole or TT SL rim.
  16. For me, either Try-all Hole or Trialtech SL. Depends how strong you want it to be really.

Awesome Ben good to see you're getting back skills from the GET 1 days just even smoother.
  18. TNN LGMs from Tartybikes.
  19. Can they make one with a +30 bb? Frame looks good up front and out backs, but not a huge fan on the mid section. Looks busy and messy with the cnc plate, but understand it plays its part well.
  20. Hammer in a torx bit, superglue/weld an allenkey in there, cut a slot in it so you can get a screwdriver in there (may not be enough torque), grind edges so you can get a spanner over it (may not be enough space), use an EZ out thang.
  21. Fair enough, but Ali has been riding for like 11 years?! Trials is a completely different ball game after about 6 years. Your perception of 'good' things become completely different. Just because a brake holds on a 1 foot ledge you've just gapped to doesn't mean you will hae confidence gapping down to a downward sloping rock 6 foot in the air (for example).
