  1. The 'watching animals do average tasks' got me
  2. Or you could just wear gloves and eye protection and not worry about it. Keep slapping on the nitromors and letting it work its way in before you try removing the paint. Do lots of layers.
  3. Bent rotors can make them feel spongy as the pads arn't contacting at the same time and one pad has to bend the disk straight till the other pad hits.

    Unlucky

    Slow news day huh.
  5. Gonna go nuts in that aisle tonight - Drain unblocker, toilet roll, washing up sponges, kitchen roll and air freshners. Shit yeah.
  6. You can't really use a screw on disk adaptor for trials as it puts forces on it both ways. For commuting, fine.
  7. Cool, cheers. I've used the freerunners and the 'chase' freerunners which have been great but am considering spitfires next.
  8. Was just asking for your source, obviously its not common knowledge to me. So guide tennies aside, is there a difference in compound between their freerunners, freeriders, and mtb specific shoes?
  9. Not convinced by that, any info to back it up?
  10. They are fairly rare these days, but were never all that great so not too popular.
  11. Can you get underneath it easily enough? Could unscrew the plastic fittings and clean all the shit out of the u-bend? Other than that, could try one of those 'snake' things you put down the plug, spin around and it collects any hair/dislodges shit thats down there.
  12. I use the newer freerunners, but used to use the older model. I liked them for riding, but prefer the look of the new ones. They all have the same rubber on the sole, so pick which style you like really.
  13. Both have done in the past. Ali found the compound for his own 'Joy pads' which he used with his vee brake for a while, then Mike got hold of the same compound and now sells them as Phat pads
  14. Have used a couple of electrics in the past, but back to old fashioned at the moment. I found they were good for the teeth out backs where you can't get a good action on as theres not much room, they made them feel cleaner. The rest of my mouth feels as clean now with a normal brush as it did back then. Maybe better investing in a load of mouthwash and toothpicks if you don't already partake in those activities.
  15. Solid 9.9 because: I'm 22 I'm not mental I have all my limbs, senses, etc Own my own house No mortgage (lucky and thankful) Good matey beys Broke up with my gf but still good mates and all I enjoy my job and forse a future in my industry Own my car outright and its been perfect for my needs so far Overall not a bad word to be said.
  16. Yeah some sort of polyurethane, usually around 70 - 90a durometer on the Shore scale I believe. Its a matter of trial and error. There are no hard and fast rules on hardness / colour etc as to what will make a good pad. There are places on ebay that sell sheets, you just have to cut the pad shapes out.
  17. Maybe it was dogshit?
  18. Good man, I remember you from Kevin's vids back in the day on your Coust (?). Welcome.

    Ben Rowlands

    Felix out of nowhere!
  20. Keep an eye on it - Mine cracked in about 6 different places on the driveside dropout, and 2 on the NDS.

Awesome Ben, every line was pretty unexpected rather than the usual predictable shit, enjoyed it
  22. We usually go Portland and dartmoor in summer along with Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth, Teignmouth, Exmouth, Dawlish, and Exeter in the winter. Rode exeter for a bit last night but you get kicked off most lit stuff.
  23. Thats cool, any more recent vids? I personally like the 1090/+30/385mm cs style frames available rather than going nuts with the bb rise/length. Makes them more 'all round' capable rather than just being good for sidehops. I dunno, what do you want out of the bike?
  24. Your dyslexia seems to have disappeared today, thats good. Try a mod out I guess, no one can really say if you'll get on with one or not. How well did you get on with the fake coust you had? That had pretty good neutral geo as opposed to super short or super long. I wouldn't say it was the bike that was holding you back in terms of riding though.
