  1. Are the cranks wobbling on the axle or the axle wobbling within the cups? If its the former, new cranks. If its the latter, bb might be loose or you'll need new bearings.
  2. Marino Bikes are 'home made' steel frames from Peru. You'll probably have to run with steel rather than alu unless you know what you're doing.
  3. Also easier/cheaper to swap out a crank with freehweel/bash on it than a whole rear wheel in a comp should the freewheel die.
  4. T Rex from a few years back. A shame the red has covered up the gnarly flames.
  5. Probably grease/oils from your skin contaminating the rotor. A spanner is best, as has been said.

Please stop taking your front wheel out, it looks doggy. Other than that, good stuff!
  7. Word, hope you've been out on the bike not fiddling with those b*****d cars of yours. Did that gap again the other evening, somewhat easier than last year.
  8. Looks good! Double wheeled tensioner would work?
  9. Practise what you do know until you get it perfect. That will keep you busy for the next 6 years.
  10. Well there are gonna be isolated bike shops who happen to have a trials rider who works there or a big trials community. 99% of bike shops will give you an odd look and show you the door.
  11. You ride in London though, one ride on either dusty or wet/ muddy natural and a fresh grind can be worn flat. I regrind probably once a month or so.
  12. Are they slipping? Could try the old trick of wrapping wire around them at each end. EDIT: those grip stops won't stop the grip rotating, but will stop them moving inwards (or outwards)towards/away from the stem. They don't go over the grip, just over the bar.

Not what I found, the lever pull on all my old bb7s (linear slic cable and XTR levers) was almost easier than my current Hope. Was never a problem. I tried not to twat her on too many rocks. A shame it snapped really!

Good stuff - Glad its worked out! Do you have a pic of the weld?
  15. Thats f**kin gnarly as hell.
  16. I personally run a 200mm mono trial up front (on a stock)and its fine, but it doesn't feel over powered or anything. My 185mm Avid (silver calipers) were similar power, but I kept snapping calipers so got a Hope.
  17. I cant stand any kind of rim brake on the front (mainly due to noise).
  18. Could spend 2 days at portland and do the quarries one day and the bill another? Dartmoor is also good but might be a bit far out of your way? Could do it between portland and bristol. Its about 2 hours between portland and bone hill
  19. Sounds like the ratchet has stripped.

    Rear Hub

Some sort of fixed hub with an Echo SL freewheel. Tartybikes has noise levels for their freewheels on the site.
