  1. We've just used standard freewheel tools (Cyclo and Try-all branded) in the past and has been fine.
  2. Use a wide based cog (eg King Kog or whatever)on the trials gear otherwise it will start to dig in to the cassette body. When you remove the pins its no longer a single unit and the load is concentrated on a small area.
  3. You could flush it through but you'd likely flush through the air bubbles too. Unless they'd float to the top of the syringe?
  4. Oh really? Fair one. Guessed it was similar design to an XC.
  5. Or tap a thread into the axle to use bolts. A QR will be fine on the front though, I've found Shimano ones to clamp better than Hope or other fancy ones.
  6. Use bolts where you can. What hubs do you have?
  7. Splined freewheel / crank interface. Probably already been said.
  8. I'm from Exeter (well, a village 8 miles from the centre)but never ride there now its actually decent weather.
  9. Thats happened to a local rider too, but again was replaced by Tarty.
  10. Ok thats cool, to be perfectly honest I couldn't care less how much your bikes are worth, I gave you an answer which equates to £150 for the carrera and £100 for the Phase. Sell them for more than that and well done, thats great news. But I will tell you bikes (trials bikes in particular) have shit all second hand value. And I doubt you'd get more than that for each of the bikes.
  11. Uh... Get a pic up? Can you turn the bearing in your hand? I guess its a sealed bearing not cup and cone?
  12. Right ok listen up and listen up good. Go see a chiropractor. They'll give you advice. I did my neck/upper back when i fell backwards 3 foot straight onto my head on a rock (with helmet on that cracked - cheers Specialized!). Went to a chiropractor because i'm not a spastic. He told me the reason for loss of movement (scar tissue is randomly oriented and cant stretch as far as normal muscle tissue), clicked everything back into place and gave me some excersises to stretch it. 3 sessions and £100 lighter and its much better. Not perfect, but good enough.
  13. Post on an internet forum about it.
  14. I can't think of much thats not already readily available?
  15. CRC provides free postage, and are about as cheap as you can get.
  16. Are we talking trials or trails here?
  17. Close.. The Tupmans joint in Ipplepen. Same county though
  18. Thought I'd let the new school kids see what real men get up to at the weekend.
  19. Tried the Maxxis Ignitors?
