  1. Just to throw this out there - I have a set of 2009 Manitou Minute Absolute Elite IT forks in white (ridden about 8 times from new)which were the top of the range 140mm air unlimited travel freeride fork (see HERE for review) that had faulty internals and were swapped to run a coil. They now deliver about 90mm of super smooth travel and work perfectly well for DJ/4x. I bought a new pair to go on my Intense 5.5 EVP. Anyways, if you're interested they're up for sale at £140 posted, come with a firm and medium spring supplied by Mojo suspension.
  2. It would have been bled with mineral oil from the factory, but bleeding with water is a good 'upgrade'. You can get olives (little brass round sleeves) from chainreaction or tarty.
  3. If you're riding on concrete and stuff in the dry it'll be fine. People didn't have different compounds available till about 5 years ago and we all did ok before that
  4. Cheers to all the cats who turned up, cheers to Mark for putting it on and cheers to Bristol for being so kind to us. Thanks to Inspired / Mark for the tee, was a good time.
  5. Xens and Hex's are good. I use a Specialized S-Works D2. Try a load on and see what happens.
  6. If shit hits the fan and he can hitch hike to Exeter theres space here.
  7. What, as in they both have plates, rollers and pins?
  8. Keep it, would possibly give £10 to a kitten charity to ease my guilt.
  9. If its a good comp, then a mix of wood, rocks, man made sections. It could be literally anything.
  10. They're loads better, pretty sure tensile strength is very similar and they stretch less.
  11. Large KMCs tend to not fit through Rohloff too great without modification. If I was you I'd get a new KMC Z610HX chain from CRC or Tarty (bit more expensive on tarty) for £9.99 / ~£13, fit that and be done with it.
  12. Fair one, suprised how calm you were, I'd be shouting at myself after about attempt 20!
  13. Everyday, you get used to it. Don't be a dick to people who are asking legitamite questions.

It was more the fact you measured/knew the dimensions of a f**kin brick and used it to try and work out how high someone jumped on their bike.
