  1. 2 trail beys from Chard riding Phase frames! Imagine that. I'd like to see a successful SW round for sure.
  2. Might as well try? Would be like £5 for some matey to lay a line of weld around it and might last you an extra week or so?
  3. The tone and context is probably pretty important here.
  4. Select bikes should be all good? Run by Phil Williams. On here as Totaltrials http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/user/423-totaltrials/ .
  5. Conti Rain King or Der Kaiser. Thats a fact not an opinion. If they won't fit in your frame, my preference is a 2.35 Maxxis Highroller dual ply super tacky. 2.5 is also good. For lighter weight, the Try-All stiky light is good
  6. See you out on it soon Donkers you badass.
  7. Sounds like a twat on a powertrip
  8. Yep, some just kinda push on and seem a bit dodgy but are fine. Tried a bit of the old spittle on the backing before pushing it on? That can help it slide easier.
  9. You reach for those stars boy!
  10. 1. Taps as in pedaling up, hitting the front wheel into the face of the wall and landing ontop to rear wheel. 2. 18:12 on a mod, 18:15 on a stock are pretty standard. Some people use a tooth either side or whatever. To work out a ratio its the first number divided by the second. Eg 18 / 12 = 1.5 and 24 / 18 = 1.3 recurring. The higher the number the harder the gear feels. This works for all gears and can be used to match up gears eg 18:15 on a stock is similar to 22:18 (1.2 and 1.2 recurring respectively)
  11. Theres your answer - I'd say the gauge was correct. They have super thick sidewalls. I run about 22 on street and 25 on rocks. Try-all front and Highroller 2.35 dual ply rear (stock)
  12. A shame to see such a mint pair of Fila's go to waste!
  13. I'm afraid I don't as it was back in the day, but consited of a stack of pallets, a couple of sleepers and about 3 concrete blocks. You could kinda roll them with a little effort, but portability wasn't really built into my design. You could easily incorporate some kinda handle / maybe even a lightweight fill core (Kingspan maybe??) or design them so they can be split into 2 smaller parts. You're right though, skys the limit when it comes to incorporating stuff into them
  14. When I had my little backyard trials section I found the most useful bits were some concrete blocks I made. About 300 tall, 500 long and 250 wideat top, 300 at base. Made them tapered to give more stability. Just knock up a wooden mould and pour him in. They were heavy enough to stay put but could be moved if you wanted. I used these to gap to / from a stack of pallets.
  15. Both look good! Where did you get your Baron from? Saw a budget one in Halfords the other day but had a really hard compound and shitty sidewalls
  16. Sometimes they can be bent back with an adjustable. If the spanner has 'teeth' / knurling might wanna put something in there so you don't mangle the tooth. Sometimes The front sprocket can wear and become hooked. This clings onto the chain and drops it before it can his the CS, causing it to skip.
  17. Or theres not enough chain wrap. Or its a new chain on old sprockets.
  18. Tar remover from Halfords or whatever Stephen. Hope you're doing well!
  19. Think thats why matey has crocos on the brain?
  20. Chains because f**k having that shit snap on you. Change every 3 months. Then tyres / grips, brake pads etc.
  21. Yarp. 22. Geotechnical Engineer. I also suck dick at parties.
  22. Challenge accepted. You're right, Crocos in metal backings would be first choice, Crocos in plastic backings would be second (If I had no money). So whether you're a baller like me or not, there is a Croco for you.
  23. If LGMs hadn't been invented Croco's would be my pad of choice
