  1. Honestly, its worth spending more on a hub. Its arguably one of the most important parts of a trials bike. If you buy a shit one and it breaks, you'll be paying a hell of a lot more to get your teeth stuck back in your gums. By all means get a second hand Hope XC / Mono as they can be had for peanuts off ebay, but thats really the only thing worth getting.
  2. Firstly, nice name. Secondly, you'll want a Hope pro2T really - That guide was written 7 years ago and there have been lots of updates since. The easiest option would be to buy a second hand 26" wheel off here. A pro2T on some sort of trials rim (Not sure on spacing on a T-Raptor, not sure you can fit a 47mm wide rim in, might have to stick with a 38mm wide with holes) would be like £100ish. Or buy the hub second hand (£50ish), new spokes (£10ish) and pay someone to build it onto your old rim (£15ish)/ do it yourself.
  3. If you can get it for less than £80 its worth it. If not, don't bother. They are super short, the flat bars are horrible, the freehub isn't up to decent riding and those tyres are pretty terrible.
  4. Has he made any vids? I'd like to watch some
  5. I'm 87% certain he didnt start and then end his riding time riding the same bike. Waterstones and WHSmiths stock it near me.
  6. Ah, yeah makes it a bit harder. I guess linking lots of street moves together without a rest (um, that'll be a line then)would give a similar effect if aching/working harder is what you're after.
  7. My front Larsen has been pretty good.
  8. I put mine in a vice just to hold them together, but not squeezing the shit out of it.

    Tms

Thiabeaux Marriaux Sport (Thats probably not spelled right but I cant be f**ked looking it up)
  10. Not really read the thread but noticed you said you don't ache after riding. Do you ride much natural? Do some decent lines on natural (not just sidehopping up a wall then sitting down and having a Red Bull and a tasty B&H)and you will ache.
  11. Isnt there kinda a difference between being organised / tidy / not a spastic and washing your hands till they bleed and turning the light on and off 30 times before you're happy?
  12. Get on Chai you badman!
  13. Fair one, its got a hard centre tread (~70a) with softer (62a maxxpro) side knobs, neither of which are very grippy. But then I do ride alot of natural and find even a 42a maxxis or Try-all stiky slip on some of the stuff I ride, so would be fine for dry, grippy rocks and street. But I found on street, it was unpredictable and as its so light never felt 'planted' on taps and stuff. very light though
  14. Sounds like the contents of most of my drawers... Stuff thats kinda 'ok' but not really useful but not bad enough to chuck out.
  15. Nice ride, but those Maxxis tyres are grippy? They're one of the least grippy, least predictable tyres I've ever run

Agreed, this is along the lines of what I was gonna say. Basically, unless you've had to live near and / or deal with some of the people she is addressing, you don't know shit.

I used to take that very tram home from school. She's, er, certainly brave... Some of the shit I've seen on that tram
  19. Is it readings from a meter or a predicted bill you get? What was it previously? If it was ~£50 (presuming its just you who lives there) they could have trebled it on a prediction?
  20. Any examples of stuff that may or may not be within the bag?
