Have you used that Avid caliper before? I found my silver ones great, but the newer dark grey / black one was flexy and shit. Other than than, looks like you know what you're doing

Mark it with a bit of tape / straight marker line. Make sure you measure lots of times and cut to the top of the line / tape. You can always chop more off...

I've found creaks coming from my rear axle/snailcams/axle bolts before which can seem to be from the bb as it happens under load. Worth checking if you run out of ideas.

Without being flippant, I'd say it was more like a meal being uncooked/cold/miniature, i.e not what you were expecting when you pay for it. If its inedible its not fulfilling its 'duty' if you will. I'd say the same for the bottle - You want it to contain water and not let it out, thats its main 'duty'. If you put it in your bag to go riding and it leaks, its not fulfilling its role. I know its a 'cheap' bottle (I say that cautiously, because I know first hand how much it takes to mass produce a bottle lke this...) but I think it'd be in Tartys interest to either send another one out, or send it back to Hope to deal with.
