  1. Maybe 2 weeks without touching anything, but by the end of that period it needs a fair bit of fiddling with normally. EDIT: For the purposes of being mis-quoted, I'm talking about my bike, not my dick.
  2. Looks cool, pretty solid set up
  3. The Spanish man next door at work decided to spray his wheel wells on his shitty Kia with black underseal 1m away from my silver car leaving it as overspray city, siiiiiccckkk.
  4. It'll take some time to get used to? You've gone from polar opposite frames, don't expect it to be handed to you on a plate.
  5. I did mine with a grinder, was fine, did get the odd phantom puncture but then I get that with a factory single wall rim too so who knows. I wasn't particularly careful and I didn't burn through the box section or anything, you gotta do pretty well to f**k it up.
  6. Yes, and I don't know, sir. My preferred drinks are Thatchers / Westons Cider, Appleton VX and ginger beer / coke / 7UP, Grey Goose citron and 7UP and I also like Rekorderlig.
  7. How anyone can drink that shit lord only knows. Bought one first year of uni because the OTN guys said it was great - 90% of it went down the sink. I'll root around in my bottle top container and see if I have any orange ones.
  8. Oooh, I bet you say that to all the girls!

    Stan Titanium

Good! I like the parts, but the 'stan' logo isn't... er, to my tastes. Is Stan (the brand) Russian? Chinese?

Do those headset spacers say 'stan' anywhere on them? Thanks.
  11. Bring it, theres loads of riders in Bristol 'down the road'
  12. If the rim bobs upwards, it needs pulling towards the hub, so tighten the pair of spokes (one ds one nds) a quarter turn and bed it in, keep doing that until you see some results. If it already bobs downwards, you may need to loosen a pair. As has been said though, its hard to get trials rims 100% but you should be able to get it 99% with a little time.
  13. Depends what you class as talent too - Some people are naturally better at some things because of their genetics (tall basketball players, higher number of fast twitch muscle fibres in sprinters etc) and some people have a lower self preservation instict (risk takers) which allow them to push themselves further. Also helps if your dad takes you out of school and your whole life revolves around trials and you never do normal things (cousts, hermance)
  14. Mine did not work in the wet full stop haha... I don't doubt Stan's brake was good, and I know Adam said he's had no problems with his. I've been through 2 sets, I can catagorically say both were well set up on clean rotors, no leaks etc and neither worked when wet. The same story goes for 3 other riders I ride with regularly here - All have whacked a set of standard pads on (the same rotor / set up) and they've worked in the wet straight away. Must be Devon water...
  15. I wouldn't be so quick to say that... As seen in the link above, a fair few people have had problems with the pro pads.
  16. A Breath, I'd imagine. Some of the best natural / tech riding I've seen for a while.
  17. Impressed with how little he gives a f**k!
  18. Nice rigs! How does that front wheel on the specialized hold up with radial spokes and a disk? I'd have thought it'd be terrible!
  19. Well it would be compared to The Grim North!
  20. Any pics of your missus' pink rose?
  21. Could you make a little cardboard deflector to put over the infra red sensor so its 'protected' from your mates signals from his one? Does that even make sense? Its home time, sorry.
  22. I started on a bike less suited to trials than that, as did most people who have been riding 8+ years.
  23. My neon ones always used to slip until I filed some notches in, after which they were fine (for one ride, then I changed frames and didn't need 'em)
  24. I don't really know (i couldn't care less when it comes to tech) but I suppose a Ford Fiesta gets you from A to B but a Ferrari gets you there a bit quicker and in more style?

    Cheeky Mouse

Could you put a small note next to his house explaining you don't appreciate freeloaders and if there was another house to inhabit you would be sincerely grateful?
