I have a wavy rotor sat in my garage, lol. Stepping the caliper down using an adaptor is not possible unless its so offset from the rotor it makes it useless anyway.

I don't even think you could make an adaptor really. The 'arms' on the caliper are too long, sticking it out from the fork too much. Only way would be to try and drill a new hole in the arms then cut them down, which may or may not work?

Pads are one of those things that are 100% personal choice. I've had good results from LGMs and the 50mm backed coust pads from like 2005 but sold some Koxx Yellows within a day of buying them as I couldn't get them to work for shit. Others loved them. If they work for you, great. If not, thats the way the cookie crumbles. If you can't get anyhting to work for you, theres something you're doing that is wrong.

To people who ride alot of rocks, off camber / angled stuff and who know what they're doing: Much improvement over LGMs? I find it hard to imagine a pad better than the LGM, I find they work really well.

In that case the Azonic DS1 I rode 10 years ago had similar geo to the Skye, sweeet.

Get another smaller sprocket to slide over the end of the hub and either clamp that or use a bit of chain in a vice to clamp it. Them hit the offending cog backwards.

Try spraying the shit out of it with GT85 / WD40 and wiggling. Also try saying please and thanks once in a while you ignorant little worm.

Pretty sure you can't get a 18t 4 bolt chainring. I think he was answering the question with a different perspective. You'll either have to stick to 22t (possibly 20t? I used to run one on my 5 bolt cranks years ago) or change cranks.
