  1. I guess a 135 axle is no good to you, I have about 3 lying around!
  2. Sorry for the offtopic post, but add to this: A real cute fur-covered hot water bottle.
  3. Is that a ladder in your bedroom? Where does it lead?
  4. A necklace from a friend Some of those little duvet booty slipper things as shes going away skiing.
  5. That sounds kinda similar to Pete Wrights frame Fresh Products did for him geo wise, i.e huge bb and tiny stays. Anyways apart from the fact it unbolted its self after the first ride, when it was still in one piece it rode like a bag of dogshit.
  6. Cool - He can hit me up on facebook or here or whatever if he wants to take a look. £40 plus whatever postage is, say £45 posted?
  7. I have some as new black size 9.5 Terrex Solos for sale if anyone wants some, not Grade B or any of that malarky, straight up good produce.
  8. Spill mineral oil over the whole driveway to make it even.
  9. On a normal, everyday car how deep water can it get through before it starts to die? I guess it depends mainly on air intake level? Just drove through some ~1.5 foot deep water on the way home (pretty slowly, obviously) and made it here fine but I guess intake level is the limiting factor?
  10. Set up looks pretty good, keep the 22:18 gear ratio. Its all about practise...
  11. Wouldn't have been a problem if you'd been paying due care and attention though I guess... Play by the rules and you won't be punished.
  12. Off topic, but do they wipe that kinda stuff? Or is it literally as it was picked up off the train or whatever?
  13. This is what it feels like when you ride a man's bike.
  14. Yep, state of the art geometry and Triple Triangle Technology means a super stiff rear end for higher sidehops.
  15. Hmmm.... Not exactly unbreakable! However, in your situation I'd probably go for a Pro2T and then you won't have to worry about getting your sprocket off your cranks / bb lengths etc.
  16. Ok thats fair enough, I'd go for the tubes / chopping tyres / foam grips (?), stripping anything thats painted, get on ebay and look for the cheap alu bolts (I think I got like 6 for a fiver or less) that can be used sparingly in less stressed areas, take topcap and bolt out and sling it in your riding bag etc... They are all very cheap Pretty much... Agreed, if you smash say bars / forks into a sharp rock and completely f**k the weave they will probably snap. But given carbon doesn't work harden like alu does, for things like bars its a great material. How many pairs of snapped carbon bars have you seen?
  17. Wrong. Personally... I'd just ride it with the spec you have, Luke has put together a well thought out bike thats light but rideable. Saving a few grammes here and there won't make you a better rider, especially at your level (not to be a dick, hope you understand what I mean). However, if you're just trying to save weight for saving weights sake then fair enough. I'd cut every other knobble off, change to light tubes (try latex?), get ti / alu bolts, plus all the other stuff. Depends if you have money to burn or not. Those <- are pretty cheap, compared to new Karbons.
  18. ...Ranging from the complete dogshit to the awesome. I'd hazard a guess that this uses the 'sorta dogshit' Rubber Queen compound. Confusingly, i think its the 'Der Baron' that uses the better RK / DK compound
  19. Do you ever prolapse in the gym? Serious talk. Some good TGS riding going down, gap to bin bail looked like a beaut.
  20. Used to ride when I lived in a city, now I live in the middle of Devon it doesn't really happen in the evenings.
