  1. Hege is such a badman. Killing everyone there!
  2. Alot of people on here only ride street (i.e TGS) and you tend to not get arm pump doing that. Come ride some lines on some rocks and tell me you don't get arm pump.
  3. What I got: Mother - Custom necklace, Neals Yeard bath shit Father - Mouse mat, some stick on cup holder things for the boats, merino wool socks, bottle of whisky possibly something TBC As they live in London its pretty easy to buy them tickets to the theatre and a meal / a cruise on the Thames which we've bought them a couple times. Get them VIP tickets to the Grove?
  4. Haha... Average bear. Any pics of you for reference? Not calling bullshit just curious.
  5. Yeah to be fair, I've not once come across someone from the Eastern Bloc who has any sort of mechanical sympathy.
  6. Ok - So what price would you pay for that bike? You mentioned my price was a rediculous one, listed all the things wrong with it, but didn't actually say how much it is worth?

More pics.. I seemed to take loads of this bike for some reason. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/130332-new-bike-for-2009/page__hl__%2Byaabaa+%2B1499 http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/131331-yaabaa-1499/page__hl__%2Byaabaa+%2B1499 One of the first Rain Kings... Mine went on the driveside chainstay about an inch away from the dropout weld. James' cracked on the headtube, Robs cracked on the headtube and maybe downtube, Bo's is still going strong.

Yeah the 1499 was used by 4 out of our 5 crew members and everyone loved it! A shame mine snapped.
  11. Was a real nice day last Saturday - I was riding topless in shorts. The white limestone makes it look like Spain or somewhere - Gives you a maaad headache sometimes
  12. I'm a little out of touch, but my guess would be £450 - 500 ballpark.
  13. Is it all from 2006 or just the frame?

I dunno if I've ever seen you ride actually, would be good to see EDIT: To sam, not dave... I've seen you ride.
  15. Theres a good chance you'll be stabbed before you get anywhere near the boulders. I <3 New Addington.
  16. I think the work Transit Connect does something similar to this. Sometimes if you are rolling in neutral and press the accelerator nothing happens, it doesn't rev. Mind you, it could just be f**ked. The 70mph limiter doesn't do the engine management much good I don't think.
  17. Go to your local shop, try a load of different brands on. They are all differently shaped and we all have differently shaped heads. One may be comfortable for someone but not fit you at all.

Not trials, after a series of injurys he stopped about a year ago. Still rides competitive XC and road though.
  19. Quite a lot of effort put in to make something so shit.
  20. I get a thin coating of frost on the inside of my octavia window now and again, usually because I have a wet bike in the back or its been raining and I get in wet. Anyway, I ordered a silicone pouch dehumidifier thing off ebay so will try that and see if it makes any difference. Was like £1.
  21. Yes but it'll be the AIDS that will get you, not your steerer length.
  22. Yeah, was just gonna say if you're running 30+ psi on a Continental Der Kaiser / Maxxis Dual ply its your riding thats the problem not the tyre. But as has been mentioned, for 24" street tyres theres not alot of choice. Only option is a maxxis dual ply but they are very heavy and slow rolling.
