  1. Damn, tell him to not bite so hard next time!
  2. Exactly... As with all things brakes and infact trials in general. Everyone has their own reasons for using / not using tar so if it works for you then great, if not try not to lose any sleep over it.
  3. Sounds like you have it worked out... Makes sense to at least try it. If you sell it on, everytime you go riding you'll be like " goddamn, shoulda tried the Giant son".
  4. Racing pants / shoe combo is outstanding.
  5. Fuuuu that looks quick / like it could end in carnage at any second.
  6. If you ask nicely people might run you through it. Remeber your P's and Q's.
  7. Yeah man will hit you up on that! I actually greased a load of shit out front which got rid of the creak but led to a comedy bar-in-stem slippage the other day during a sidehop. Anyway, when I get bored of sitting at my table and thinking about life I'll order them up.
  8. Bit of both... Usually a fair few plymouth street rides in evenings, and dartmoor natural at weekends. There are a couple of spots in Torquay i believe, but only ever ridden Hopes Nose.
  9. I hope you have pet insurance! Because your pussy is getting damaged.
  10. ...And then you put your tyre on and contaminate the rim. Siiiiccckkkk
  11. Ok update for anyone who cares. Went round a few different furniture shops today and were all out of my price range / extending / looked like they were from the '70s. Ended up in The Range and found a nice simple solid American oak table and chairs for £279 which I'm pretty impressed with. Not seen any other solid oak tables for under about £300, the £500 one I was looking at had oak veneer... Salesman was a lot nicer / more helpful than the other bastards in the higher end shops, over all a good experience
  12. When I bought the house I paid some extra money to have some bits left in - Sofas, fridge, freezer, dining table etc. They worked, but I've lived with them for 2 years while I slowly modernise and decorate the house. All the old bits are slowly being replaced with new, hence getting rid of the old one. It's a nice idea you have, and fine if you can wait 6 months without a dining table / don't mind living in a house with furniture that doesn't match / is too big / etc. Anyway, thanks for all the suggestions everyone, wil take a look at Very, the range etc
  13. I know a couple of you are over 13 years old and have bought some stuff for your house. I recently got rid of my dining table / chairs and need another. Where did you buy yours? Any good deals? After a table and 4 chairs for like £300 - £400, would pay £500 for something nice enough. Hit me... I've been to Ikea btw.
  14. You've never read the text on the side of a CC have you... He designed it.
  15. Toddla T is a badman and the Zed Bias track is a banger.
  16. Well at least it keeps you indoors and not roaming the streets, the streets in which our kids play.
  17. I'm sure you are. I'm just sayin' a booster will increase hold but DECREASE bite. So agreed, will 'feel' like a better brake without a booster because it will tend to vibrate a bit more, giving more sound and more bite. But a booster stops the stays flexing putting more of the effort onto the rim, increasing hold. I know you know this, but just for anyone else out there. However, brakes are black magic and everyones are different so i'm not gonna argue with you. EDIT: Also I don't need a picture to confirm that you arn't lying to me about your brake set up, life is too short, don't worry about it lol.
  18. Booster increases hold.
  19. Confirmed. Nick Wood.
  20. It's a coarse grained basaltic rock, whats not to like?
  21. Shout out to the Ikea picture frame.
  22. Never trust a Scotsman.
  23. Harder compound = less grippy though, non? Bike looks cool, very similar to my SL.
  24. Good: Light, bouncy, grip ok on dry rock / concrete. Bad: Roll badly, puncture resistance not great, not very grippy.
  25. Some people's perception of weights on here is rediculous. Anyway, looks well set up, and those frames have pretty decent geo from what I remember
