  1. This move has very little to do with your legs, hence not a lot of movement. They only come into play 'sucking' up the bike. Your head is probably the most important bit. It's a combo of throwing your head forward, flex in forks and tyre and lifting with your arms and back.
  2. They must have been getting rid of them for a reason?
  3. Too modest to mention Under Pressure
  4. Crash bang wallop what a video! Do you have your pads set up super close to the rim or does your frame / wheel flex a lot? Seemed like a lot of brake rubbing going down.
  5. Sweet, one of my favorite ever frames!
  6. It was closed for a reason man, just leave it.
  7. I hate to comment on the shorts to but... Crumbs. Must feel like you're naked. Anyway, good riding in a soviet cold war kinda way
  8. Fuuu... £599, thats quite expensive! Why should I buy one of these over a Koxx Kloud?
  9. It was taken in for an MOT today just to check everything else was good to go, and whats written on the failure certificate is the second one. So thats good news right?
  10. Thanks Robin, I'll see what he has to say about the situation. I did ask if there was a dodgy way around things and he said 'there's a good chance, yeah' so he is down for some skullduggery. Will suggest this tomorrow!
  11. Cool cool, the car is being dealt with by the mechanic man who is 2 units down from work which makes things logistically easy as pie. I just wanna do a little research so i can hit him with some ideas so I can sort myself out ASAP. Sticky caliper was my first thought, will get him to hit it with a hammer The airbag light has been on for a good 4 years, and due to the MOT changing the goal posts its' no longer safe Anyway, yeah he's plugged it into his VAGina and soldered the wires into the main box thang under the seat but to no avail, won't even turn off for long enough for them to MOT it. The main problem is the sensor being on back order I guess, as nothing can really be done until that part comes in stock. It's kinda bs that you can't get a written note from the mechanic saying he'll fix it when the part comes in and the MOT man passes it on that basis. I will pay whatever it takes, just need my ride to pull chicks. Luckily I have an 89hp Kia C'eed estate as a work hire car as of tomorrow so my cock won;t be out of action for too long :shades emoticon that's no longer there:
  12. Don't you need to divide by the circle radius but multiply the flange denominator? Well that's how I've always done it.
  13. Trusty Octavia has failed MOT on the goddamn airbag light and the bias on the rear brakes is out. 36% one side, 14% the other. What causes this? Any dodgy ways to get it through the MOT with an airbag light on? The sensor my mechanic thinks I need is on back order, not sure how long for... And the MOT runs out tomorrow. How clever are MOT people? Can I just put a plaster over the light or something?!
  14. I like the 26", don't have an opinion on the 20" or 24" as I'm never gonna ride one Good geo, hope they're Echo SL price range and they should do well.
  15. Sweet! Ugh god winter looks cold and horrible don't let it be
  16. There isn't a component I havn't broken at some point or other, but then I don't break stuff that often.
  17. Are these in high demand? How much do people wanna pay me for one?

I went to a local 'open day' at a farm and seems pretty easy! Certainly a growing past time, it really was a hive of activity when I went!
  20. If you are looking at spending £120 on pedals, buy the £30 pedals everyone is telling you to buy and spend the rest on making this a better bike. This will do the job and has some good parts, but is likely to be fairly shagged so may need some bits replacing sharpish.
  21. Thank f**k for Ikea Bristol eh! And the Lack range in general.
  22. Ok. To clarify, I thought it was fairly funny and hence 'fair play'. The effort involved in travelling half the country, then filming and editing a 19 min video about it for a joke is kinda nuts but like I say, you northerners have nothing else to do so it's time well spent to make an amusing vid. So hopefully this has made it easier for you and your mate to understand. You guys can get pretty defensive over something as trivial as this, maybe you are the ones who need to lighten up and get your heads out your own arses.
