Not enough money in it i guess... With the advent of affordable disk brakes theres no real market for them anymore. Trials riders arn't a big enough market, i doubt Mr Shimano even knows what trials is. The cast must still be around somewhere though... (Y)

You can't really compare the likes of Neil Tunnicliffe and Hermance... They're in 2 completely different leagues. The 'lesser' riders will have jobs and/or college, like normal people. However people like Hermance will be doing training (both on the bike and in the gym), demo's and probably things like visiting the Koxx offices to sort stuff out. But other than the top 15 or so in the world, they're all just normal people who can ride a bike well. It's a hobby that they're good at.

Hmm... I'm super relieved my dad go's to work at 7 in the morning, he was safely in his office when the shit hit the fan. His office is about 5 mins from Liverpool St. station. And my mum's stuck in Croydon. Glad they're all safe.. dunno how my dad's gonna get back home though.

I think it's pretty good... If i'm in the area when i'm 23/24, i'm definatly going to go. If we can pull it off well, the world's perception of our ability to handle big events (possibly THE biggest?) will greatly improve. Which, in the long run, is good. The public transport will be greatly improved for the surrounding area, as will the sports facilities. It's being held in a relitively deprived area of London, so they're spending the money on an area that needs it. I'm sure it could be held in Manchester or Cardiff, but there wouldn't be as many foreign visiters because of the prestige London holds. Overall, it's good that we have it, as long as we can pull it off well. I'm also glad we beat the Frogs :-

I try not to use it to help with arm pump. But i don't purposefully not use it to improve technique, just as a measure to lower arm pump problems. I agree about the front wheel spinny thing hehe.

Awesome vid, that song is one of my favorites. TRA is right, at least the posts have flat tops and even surfaces. Those rocks turn to ice when they get rained on apparently. And it was meant as a compliment, not a discouragement. Anyways, immense vid from Kev, great filming and editing, and that music works super well with the vid.
