  1. Bob, presumably. Don't ask what it is, search for it.
  2. Yeh they're shite. Good for using on the front though. Rumour has it Echo will be releasing a new, wider rim soon.
  3. He's new to trials, don't be a douche.

Nice ride matey, keep making vids so we can see how you progress :D Get the moves dialled now, then when you start building up more muscle bulk etc., you 'll just have to work on height/expolsiveness and you'll become a very good rider (Y) Woodford.
  5. Magura Blacks with an unground rim and oil on the braking surface.
  6. Try it next time you're out and you'll see what i mean. Ith as nothing to do with whether your leg is in the way of the tyre or not, but the amount you have to bend your leg in order to get it as low as going the 'right' way.
  7. Oh em gee no front brake. Looking good sir, you got the front end at a nice height yet?
  8. I've never had to touch the D521 on Hope XC built with Revolutions thats fitted to the back of me Azonic, thats had some h/core action. Both wheels on the trials bike were built by Ad, and i havn't had to touch either of those either.
  9. On a slightly random note, i hop to the left and i'm left foot forwards, i.e the 'wrong' way. Anyways, it's always better to go to the opposite side for clearance reasons and stuff, but also another thing i found is you might have trouble putting your tire by your ass as you land if you do it the 'wrong' way. When i land, i can't really tuck up that high because my rear leg has to compress a TON. However when doing it the 'right' way, it's much easier and my rear leg doesn't have to compress as much. Try it next time you're out, it's kinda hard to convey over the intersurfs.
  10. The Blue Dragon Lite on the back of my dual bike grips really well - It has a really soft compound. I would expect it pinches easily though, the sidewalls are thin. Having said that i've never punctured it riding dual so... My old Factory DH tires were appauling however, as they use a really cheap compound thats really plasticy and horrible. I used to slide out all over the place when the pavement was wet. So in summary: Stay well away from the Factory DH tires, but some people have had good results with the more expensive tires, such as the Blue Dragon and the White Tiger. Make sure you get them in the FAT66 casing to prevent punctures. Ashton never used the Factory DH tires. He used to use a Factory XC on the front, and has gone though many rear ones, such as the Terrafirma and more recently the Yellow Kirin. He's now using the Maxxis Minions in a Maxxpro 60a compound.
  11. It comes with Evo mounts as standard, if you have a 4 bolt frame and have the clamps, then you just un-do the Evo mounts and they'll be ready for your mounts (Y) However if you need mounts they can be bought from the usual places, TartyBikes, SelectBikes, Supercycles etc... Get the HS33, don't bother with the HS11. The power is reduced due to the difference in piston diameters, and they feel ALOT squidgier due to the composite lever body and 3 finger blade.
  12. HS33 Single :D Click either 'LH silver' or 'LH black' depending on what colour you want :S

    My Norco Launch

Nice ride sir  I second Ali's motion, and say go to Morzine/Les Gets/Avoriaz, i had an awesome 2 weeks on my Azonic :) Can't reccomend it enough :o What fork is that? Marzocchi looks like? I wish i had a squishy (Y)
  14. Andy, Elan, Mr Penut, Kevin, Rush, Joel etc. are the only reasons i visit OTN? There seems to be ALOT less bitchyness on there though, 'cos one of the above will call them something overly harsh then they'll stop. It's definatly controlled by 3 or 4 people though, and it shouldn't really be like that. Anyways, on topic...
  15. Ok my friend, listen up :o The first link you posted is the correct brake that you want. It's a MAgura HS33 and thats what you want  HOWEVER as you pointed out it is only available in a front (Y) The second link is a HS11, which is similar but under par compared to a HS33. However it is available in a rear. What you could do, is phone up chain reaction and ask them to keep a long section of hose on the front HS33, enabling you to fit it to the rear. They may come in pre-cut lengths, but ask :) EDIT: Just had a look on CRC, and i'd pay the extra £20 or so and get a rear 2005 HS33, that will stop you from fiddling around with hose lengths and stuff.
  16. If you need a brake (lever, hose, slave cylinder/caliper), then get a Magura HS33 as you say. These can be bought from Chainreactioncycles.com. If you need the clamps to bolt this to your frame, then you need to go to Tartybikes.com and look for '4 bolt mounts'.
  17. Did the FBI put Andy's ass in jail?
  18. On a stock, i run 21 PSI front et rear. That's with a Maxxis on the rear and a Continental on the front.
  19. CLS is the coolest rider in the world, everyone knows that.
  20. Replying to Todge i presume :) You cased a brick wall at 30MPH and you didn't get a puncture? (Y) EDIT: Snappel, yeh i was refering to the new Ashton... He seems to have a deal, with Try-All boosters on front and rear, plus the rims.
  21. Some good riding. That last wall is way too low to be front hooking.
