  1. I think i'd have a different reaction if they were using cats (how fickle am i?!) but i'm not disgusted that they're doing it or anything. Each to their own, we all have different opinions on it, it probably happens all over the word but goes undetected.
  2. *Gonna party like it's 1999*
  3. Have you ever been to a comp? Ever been to a UCI worlds? There's some serious shit going on, afterall trials is the Coustellier's living, and life.. Quitting school to ride trials 24/7 is pretty serious. But yeh, just 'cos someone see's them doing it doesn't mean they're gonna be able to do it, so i see your point. I think the point of the move was if it was needed in a comp siutation, or where a slope posed a problem with run up issues etc. Oh well, they'd still school every one of us
  4. Is this true? Not disagreeing, just interested as my Pazzaz carbons are about 1.5 years old now... They're still immaculate apart from a few surface scratches, but i was getting worried about replacing them.

I'm not old enough yet, but looks like one of those things that's gonna be a good laugh with your mates. Like many people, thats not the sorta music i listen to out of choice, but i find that pretty much any music sounds good in the right environment. I found Kano pretty good to listen to in my mates Sub'd and Amp'd car, just 'cos it was loud, bassy and i was with my mates. As has been said, once you've had a bit of the disco juice it sounds like a laugh <_< Big fish, little fish, cardboard box...
  6. I can't help you 'cos i thought the vid was utter gash-ness, but Google knows all. 'short string of lyrics' lyrics + ENTER = joy.
  7. The 'Giaco' cut out makes it 20% stiffer and 30% lighter than it's predecessor. Fact.
  8. He doesn't want Magura's for Christ's sake! Listen to Leedstrials Mr Am4zin, he's actually used a V brake in his life.
  9. Whilst searching through topics looking for some pics of that black Coustellier, i came across THIS thread, which is a good year old now, but it raises some very interesting points. Stories of 6'5" taps to rear etc. Worth a read if you're bored
  10. There were more pics around somewhere, on OTN... A quick search reveals...Nothing.

This reminds me, i need a chain device for the ol' Azonic (I nearly died the other day ragging it to a mates, hipping a mini-roundabout for my chain to somehow come off, sending me hanging on for dear life with my chest on the bars and my feet dragging the floor speeding into an on coming car :S ) Anywho, i might take a pic at some point, quick spec: Azonic DS1 Marzocchi Z1 Wedge Hope on D521 rear Shimano on F519 front Tioga Blue Dragon Lite rear, Michelin Hot S front tyrez Azonic bar Kore stem F+R Hope Mini's Shortcage rear mech and road casette Flite Ti saddle FSA X-Drive X-treme cranks VP platform pedals (£45! ) PC99 chain Loc-On grips I think thats that.
  12. Seems to me like a job would be the first sensible move, giving you stability, money and a grounding in a certain country. Some things you can't do anything about, you just have to let them be, and make them most of what you have now. Civil Engineering gives you the world as your workplace (Some girl who just moved to my school's father is a Civil Engineer and moved from Canada, to the Ascention islands [8 degrees south of the Equator, between Africa and South America] and now resides in Tonbridge Wells, Kent). Whatever you do, make sure you're 100% sure of what you're doing... However, be prepared to take risks, it will make it much more of an adventure, and you won't get very far from your bed in the morning if you don't take any risks, let alone set off on an aeroplane to another land. Obviously English speaking countries will make it ALOT more familiar and in turn it will be an experience without being too daunting. You're definatly not alone, I'm deciding as to what uni i want to go to next year, that's hard enough...
  13. PM Andy Tonkery on here or on OTN, he has some beasty tatoo's
  14. Ring Bromley Bikes up and ask, 020 8460 4852. They should have some
  15. Click Trashzen link below, should help  EDIT, just read your post properly, and it's one of those things that will come with practise. Once you get used to landing in the right position, you'll be ready to hop straight away without a correctional hop. Just takes practise. It will come.
  16. Good thinking Batman... Looks good, AND it's nice and safe for road use, no need for a fluro vest!
  17. The UK distributor/importer/messer-arounder is located in my home town. You still win though.
  18. Skinnyman is awesome! I love Mark B and Blade's Unknown album where he features on it. I listen to different things, Roots Manuva was the last album i bought, i listen to alot of the Pixies, Cat power, the Stones, Dust Junky's, Nirvana, Zero 7 for chilling, and newer stuff like Maximo Park, the Editors, and the Bedowin Soundclash, along with the classics like AC/DC, Sex Pistols etc.
  19. In 0 degree rise? Hmmmm... I say: Go Thomson

    *cough* Sabotage *cough*
  23. DH is a much bigger sport, more money can be pumped into producing magazines/magazine sections, as there is a much bigger market. How many people ride trials compared to those who ride DH/XC? But who knows, the fact is the internet is here, and it's here to stay...
