I'm afraid i can't tell you the answer, but what i can say is that it'll vary with different forks.

Depends what it is. I'd gladly sacrifice some weight if i gained some strength in parts like forks, rear rim etc., but i don't think theres any part of my bike that is lighter but weaker than a standard part. So i wouldn't sacrifice durability for weight. Unless it was something retarded like titanium bolts.

Trials rider's backs are a thing to behold... I look like a tortoise, i have all of zero muscle on my front and big back muscles. My lower back tends to hurt if i ride a short bike, and my upper back seems to hurt after a long ride as thats when you use it... Riding. Just ride it out.

Leave them, ride through the pain, grrr... Consider changing grips. They'll harden up and form callus's, the sign of a trials rider. Surgical spirit will harden up the skin, making them less painful.

Remembered some more... Running for an hour up and down my road with my new trainers on when i was 6. Some weapon on a moped trying to show off to us when it was icey, trying to jump off the kerb, hir front end washing out and him landing in a heap on the floor. When my brother fell off a 3 foot wall when i was about 2 and landing on his head onto concrete. Being in my blue, waterproof full body suit thing and playing in the first time i saw snow. My mum pushing my up the hill when i was in my pushchair, it was pissing down and i was all dry and snuggly. Coming home to find a random cat in my bed after school.
