  1. It doesn't matter which colour, Browns will last the longest. Thay all have advantages. Plazmatic CRMs are good, and look at Heatsink and Coustellier too. You're new here so i won't go on about it, but this topic is very common and there are loads of posts if you give it a quick search
  2. Nice topic... I've always ridden my bike, i used to be out in rain, shine or snow back in the day, on my lil' home made jumps! I skateboarded briefly, and i used to play a bit of cricket for the school in the summer.
  3. Sorry to random-ify your topic Mat, but there was a quote in this weeks Times that said 'The difference between wearing a helmet and not doing so is the difference between a paracetamol and learning to speak again'. Which i thought was quite good. I use a Giro something, Animas... Served me well so far
  4. I've got a proper Karrimore water/windproof breathable shell that i use soemtimes, but i've got a simple View From shell from M&S which has vents for breathability and is waterproof.
  5. Over rated: ZOO! Pitbull ZOO! Python Under rated: Koxx Levelboss
  6. What looks like Roman R's old avatar? If it is then 1/10. If not, then 5/10.
  7. Means 'bodge', for the uncool And yes... It's just like the ball bearing you get in RB levels, but i couldn't find a ball bearing so i used a cut-down bolt.
  8. THANKYOU FOR the FANTISTIC INFORMATION
  9. Good luck with it matey, try emailing as many companies as possible and see if you can come up with a deal. Woody
  10. I wouldn't have thought it makes good business sense to post the measurements of your frame on a trials forum?
  11. What hub does CLS use? Get that.
  12. Have a look and see if you can ride someone elses, doesn't necesarily have to be an Echo, but just see how the length feels. Remember you can change it a bit with bar/stem combo's. Have as long a ride as possible, just hopping on the backwheel will do nothing. Try gaps, ups, sidehops, wheelswaps, hoo-ha's, whatever else.
  13. I'm no good at macgyvering. I put a bit of bolt in my Magura to make it bite earlier in it's travel?
  14. They're all winners in my book.

    New Mods Ahoy.

Cool, nice to see some more mods appearing, good luck Andy and Jon :$
  16. Mmmmhmmmm, Missions are 1.5" and the standard is 1/18" Go team Gecho
  17. Everyone loves Pingu and Co., plus a trials reference from Evolve, modified to fit ze pictor. six outa ten EDIT: i got beated: Cudgel is a nice word, not sure what a beating stick has to do with anything though. 5/10, i think it's a bit boring, but i like the word, sounds cuddly.
  18. Take it to someone who knows what they're doing seems to be your best bet. Yeh, the bearings are little buggers and want to have a holiday and fall out under very heavy/immobile objects.
  19. Martyn's Ashton was pretty pimp. Staples' KOT was nice too. My Koxx is pretty nice, i'm used to it.
  20. I  that bike. FYI the new Lite-Guys are dece.
  21. I know nothing about this particular thing, but the HIV needle thing ACTUALLY happened in Croydon (wonderful this time of year btw) a while back, like 2 years ago.
  22. Nice pic of, i'm presuming, Rossi, looking like he's riding into the sea?! >_< I like, 7/10
  23. I know nothing, but try un-doing the lockring. Or just buy a new one, they're what, a tenner?
  24. Yep, i use a Shimano compatable Gripshift (Rocket or Attack or soemthing, i forget), anyways you just cut the shifter part down as short as you want it. This doesn't affect shifting at all (as long as you leave ~1.5") and the only trouble you'll face is the gripshift coming apart. This is annoying but it is usually held in place with the grip (a loc-on collar is very useful for this) and you just have to gently untwist it when you remove brake levers etc.
