Any of the big cities, there seems to be 4875895 riders from Yorkshire so maybe there, London is super (and the best city in the world anyway!), Liverpool, Birmingham etc are pretty good i'd imagine. Generally, where theres trials riders theres trials to be ridden.

I dunno how people keep killing them, mines lasted a few months now without being touched by a spoke key and all surfaces are perfectly fine. Thats running around 15PSI with a Michelin. Maybe i'm smooth?!

Single speed is lighter, and you only generally use one gear anyway. Gears allow you to get to places easier and have a choice for varying terrain. I'd go with 3 cogs on the rear with a mech, then see how you go.

Garage/deck, depending on what the weather's doing. My garage has carpet/plaster though, so it's more of a room.
