  1. omgosh. There is a spellcheck button, use that if you don't know how to spell hard words such as 'my'.
  2. I'm currently at uni in Plymouth, so am not around to show you things I'm afraid! As for riding London, see which trains run from Twickenham to the central London stations such as Waterloo/Victoria/London Bridge/Liverpool st. etc. Once you know where you'll be coming in to, multimap it and find the London Eye, which is near waterloo/waterloo east. This is where most London rides start, and if you can get there you'll have a nice tour of the London riding spots. Also, check out Battersea Park, as it has some pretty good natural stuff (by London standards anyway!) Good Luck!
  3. I'm at uni now! Got in yesterday, is very different to what i'm used to lol, but it seems cool! I like my lil room, its full of computery stuff and a nice bed.
  4. I think it's trying to mate with your Lizard Skin, poor lil scamp.
  5. Best thing to come out of West Wickham is David Bowie and Layhams farm blueberry jam. f**k doing London, everyone knows anything in London is cooler than polar bear piss.
  6. Well you'll soon see! Not alot you can do about it anyways - I don't have one infront of me to look at but it may be ok.
  7. Werd to Anzo. We use 'COOST!' alo if trying to make something hard. And if someone makes something they didn't think they could, 'There you gooo!' a la Tricks and Stunts 2 is good.
  8. Hopefully working for an oil/gas/energy company near the bottom rung, but with lots of scope to move up so i can be near the top at 50ish, rather than burning out too early. Either in London, Devon, or New Zealand somewhere. Or something.
  9. Tim and Stephen, you're both negros. Nice pics. I would have come out but i was recovering.
  10. Nice work... So you moved from Southend to Norfolk (somewhere), and now back to Southend? Fair play... As you know, i won't be visiting you in southend
  11. Take the money and spend it on cars and mountainbikes, and a house in Morzine. If it had to be no bikes at all... I'd take up like snowboarding or summat in my nice house in Morzine.
  12. So he's been riding for about as long as you've been spelling? I can gap like 6 foot or something. I seem to find i can gap whatever i need to gap, within reason. i've pushed to 7' if theres something to aim for.
  13. It's simple economies of scale. Same principal works for cars... Why does a McLaren SLR windscreen cost £1,500 compared to a Focus windscreen that costs £400? They're both made of melted quartz. The fact is that Ford will order thousands of screens from Pilkington or whoever, whereas Mercedes are yet to order an SLR windscreen, making the price rocket. Thats why you can pop into Halfords and buy an appollo today with the same technology as 4 years ago, and pay 1/4 the price than you would have paid for a 'proper' bike 4 years ago.
  14. Because they work hard and earn money they're stuck up?
  15. I'm planning on going to uni to find out what i want to do. I have a pretty open 'Applied Geology' degree which could take me in many directions. I know that geology is what I'm good at, what i enjoy and what can make me money (which, coincidently, is why we work... Don't lose sight of that fact). I guess I'm lucky as i know which area i want to aim for.
  16. Nice pics. Tim and I should've gone to Tower Hill, but we were having too much fun. Nice pics Joe, I probably should have said hello
  17. Sit in your parents car and get yourself aquainted with all the controls. Don't go anywhere/start the engine, but practise changing gear without looking at the gear stick and getting the timing of the clutch right. Get to know where the ancillary controls are, what a good driving position is etc. This will all change when you get used to your instructors car, but it'll give you a headstart and you'll be able to get on with actual driving quicker. Also, have a look under the bonnet and have a poke around (but only when it's cool remember!) and ask your mum/dad/whoever to point out the dipstick (at this point he could make a really cool joke and point to you/a family member/passer by.... Feel free to use this one btw)/oil filler cap/etc. None of this will help you drive as such, but it'll be free and will make driving easier, helping you to move onto the real driving as soon as possible so you don't spend 3 lessons sitting at the roadside learnign where everything is. Car wise, go small capacity and earn no claims, buy better car next year.
  18. CRMs don't work too well on a fresh, harsh grind i found. Do a really light skim over a smooth rim, and they'll work beasty.
  19. I'm afraid all the porn i have is silent as all the girls have gags and gimp masks. Anyways, could you not just record it yourself? Dunno if you have a mic or whatever, but it'd be easier if you did, obviously.
  20. I'm soooo good at driving right, i passed my test at least like 2 months ago, and i can drift well good round roundabouts in my really quick 1.2 Fiesta! It's really quick for a 1.2, and has some sweet Ripspeed alloys that makes it go faster. I'm probably better than most people in my area at drifting, my mum said so!
  21. I was there last Sunday, though i wasn't on my bike. I did, however, look at all the trials-able stuff and think 'wow, that looks pretty trials-able', then i went and bought a pirates costume. True story.
  22. Nigga please... A preliminary yes from myself, if the weather is being a ball bag in the morning i'll be like 'no way, homes', but may come anyway. Tim, if you're coming, it'd be wonderous if you could bring Napolian Dynamite
  23. I'm not sure your opinions can be all that accurate until you've driven a car on the roads though.
  24. Valentine 1 laser/radar detectors are generally considered the best. Have a look for Alex Roy's various pages (polizei144.com/bullrun144.com) and theres loads of info on the stuff he uses. Valentine 1 detectors have directional arrows to tell you where the source is. It also has a function to turn off the X band, source of many false alarms. Anways, all this stuff is on the websites i've linked to in this and my previous posts.
  25. Hmm... Theres a VAST difference between speeding and 'being a twat and wanting to show off'. Agreed, people who do 60 in a 30 when there are pedestrians around driving to the limit of their ability/the road conditions/their cars ability are being irresponsible and dangerous. BUT Doing 85 (which would be classed as speeding, obviously) on a clear motorway with good road conditions, visibility, driving skill and a car designed to handle and stop comfortably at these speeds is, in my eyes, hardly being a twat. Take the traffic cop who was caught doing 159mph (+/- 5mph) in a Vectra GSI on the motorway in Telford in good road conditions. He was considered one of the best drivers the areas police force has.. So he's a Grade 1 driver, in a car designed for high speeds, on a clear road. There are no pedestrians on a motorway, as it was a clear road there would have been no/few cars, he would know how to handle the car correctly, and in my eyes, i'm failing to see the harm. For anyone in a situation under this level of driving, in a lower performance car, on a busier road in worse conditions, i consider it to be irresponsible and dangerous.
