  1. Haha, the first thing i noticed was Simon's grammar/spelling/punctuation/txt talk! Is there any question to answer anymore? Sorry to make this seem like a pointless post.

    Addictive Food

Word to Ali C with the Skips crisps comment! I'm pretty sure they're 99.9% air. Yoghurt covered raisins. Cheese toasties here at uni - Had at least one every night for the past 2 weeks. Been through 7/8 big blocks of cheese between the 6 of us. And although not a food, Mount Gay rum. Mmmmm....
  5. Are you Australian? Sorry if i'm being ignorant but skippying is new to me. Unless you mean skippering? But you'd need a boat for that. Or kippering? Which is the art of catching kippers. I dunno. But for drops you don't want length, you wanna go straight down as close to the wall as possible, which'll make it alot smoother. Practise off kerbs, then onto higher and higher things as your confidence builds. Buy Tricks and Stunts for all the tips you'd ever need.
  6. Uggghhhh.... I prefered him in Evolve. 'I saw this line, eehhhh, I tried to hit it but I'm too Canadian, ehhhh, i just had to come back and nail it ehhhhh, ugghhhghhhh'
  7. True story, but you can use powerful cleaners such as petrol/whatever to clean the shite off, then clean the residue off with washing up liquid/whatever. Sometimes alcohol based cleaners arn't strong enough to clear the shite.
  8. Nice pics, havn't been able to get down to Hook Woods yet, should go at some point when I'm back at home.

    New Natty Vid

Nice work dude, looks like a cool place to ride. Good music, too
  10. 160 on mod is fine, 160 on stock will work well, but may not be powerful enough for some gaps to front on rails and such. Try it and buy a 180 adaptor kit if it doesn't work well?

    Pad Reviews

Pads: Koxx Bloxx Yellows Time used: 2 weeks before i gave up Rim used: Echo '06 Grind: Yes and no Brake used: Magura 2003. Water bleed, 2x steel standard magura booster, std. lever. What is your opinion of a working brake: One that will not slip, ever. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Appauling. Used CRM's/Monty/Rimjam Greens/Heatsink/Coustellier/Magura reds. Review: First of all i had these on a worn grind, and they worked unsatisfactorily out of the box. Tried every trick in the book to wear them in, no luck. Tried a nice, sharp fresh grind, and this was no better. I was slipping forwards on loads of objects because of their wank-ness. Gave up after about 2/3 weeks due to safety reasons. Whacked some old Heatsink yellows on the same grind and they worked well. Their only good point was that they didn't wear at all, but thats not much use if they don't work at all. Very poor
  12. Should be there boys, got some pads on order that should be with me weds/thurs

    Pierced Nipples

 I'm not into any of this shit to be honest, only piercings on women should be ears and none on men. Unless its ears in which case it's ok-ish. EDIT: By request of Pete Wright:
  14. I'm afraid so, yeh Lots of riders in Leicester, and get Matt (I read he's coming on OTN?) to get people out. Have fun dude!
  15. Thank God Tobes sorted them out. Good lad.
  16. Until anyones tested them on a trials bike I'll reserve judgement. To be honest I'd rather have carbon forks that weighed a few hundred g's more, than a carbon fork that is gonna snap and rape me with its carbon shards. Though all i care about in forks is strength, then weight, then stiffness... I like a bit of flex. If they're strong, then cool.. They've failed the weight catagory, but should be stiff. Which is not always good. So, all in all, alu forks are fien for me
  17. You still sponsored by Andrew? That Cockney Rejects graffiti is class.
  18. Washing up liquid + warm water. Then wash off with fresh water.
  19. I'm a little confused as to the details due to language barriers (but bloody good work anyway dude!), but i think what you want to know is whether the bending of your rear cog was due to the diagonal chain line? If so, its definately a possibility. Chain lines should be as straight as possible to avoid skipping and bending of the cog. However, some cogs that have been broken up from cassettes arn't designed to be put through the pressure trials puts on them, and so bend even if the chain was straight. Try using a high quality single cog (King Kog/Shimano DX/Surly etc) and sort your chainline so its straight.
  20. Yeh at the end of the day, the first music (if we wanna go and get all anal about this shit) was the earliest humans tapping rocks together in some sort of rhythm. Were the earliest humans black or white? I think it depends on what you call the earliest forms of music.
