I may be biast 'cos I'm a VAG man, but looks to me like a good buy! Those diesel engines are meant to last forever, and as long as bits such as clutch/suspension/gearbox are all in good order it shouldn't cause you many reliability issues. I say go for it, looks like a classy lil ride
