  1. I go to Plymouth uni, first year doing Applied Geology. Its hard to give a good review, as its the only uni i've ever been educated in! Also, there are poeple that have left within the first term as they didn't get on with their course/couldn't hack living on their own etc. HOWEVER: I'm having a brilliant time there, can't wait to get back really! I'm in Radnor Halls (£90-ish per week) and they're pretty good, all i could want really. Course is good, though obviously each will be different. As for the city, its got its good and bad, but during a sunny day on the Hoe theres few places i'd rather be! Lots of places to go out at night, all the usuals plus a few smaller places which are cool. Any questions you want answered, whack them down
  2. The smart money is on drilling a valve hole in the joint, then re-drilling the existing valve hole to a larger size.
  3. Needed £5.90 for 2 pints, ordered them but when i got them realised i only had £5.05 to my name... A nice bloke next to me gave me £1 and told me to keep the change, rad
  4. Trouble with Nik Nacs is the bags are too small and i find them hard to pick up a decent amount at one. Make the best flavours though... Other than their creamy cheese or whatever its called, RANK. Lovin' Worcestershire sauce flavours too, Made my mouth burn a little after though!

Many of my Afro-Carribean chums say that. As well as kissing their teeth. Annoys me immensely!
  6. They may be able to move that amount in a free and open environment, but will they really be able to maintain that pressure in a pipe in a tight engine bay? And its more about the compression of air (i.e PSI) rather than the amount of air it can move (CFM) isn't it?
  7. For future reference, does a 30k+ essay follow the conventional intro/results/conclusions type formula, or is it broken down into a series of 'mini' essays which each have the 3-step forumula but are linked together by the topic in hand? Luckily for me, i have 2 years before i need to do this!
  8. Thats a type of supercharger, known as a Centrifugal type. Roots superchargers are more expensive, quieter and generally wider used. They look like this: These are the types you'll find on blown AMG engines.
  9. Not bad, not bad! Nice riding, and pretty good editing
  10. So who exactly were you demonstrating trials to? The only people around seem to be trials riders!
  11. That's a recockulous idea, DO NOT BUY ONE!

I feel you're paranoid... My post had nothing to do with what you wrote.

People who bring what i view as unneccesary 'knowlege' to make them seem intelligent, just because they've recently learnt it in school/college/university. People who buy sports cars but drive in a manner that warrants a Suzuki. Slow walkers. People not thanking you for holding doors/letting you in ques/letting you through roads. Arrogance. People in general actually!
  14. And there i was hoping for an Audi...
  15. When it rains and you can smell 'that' smell that rain on hot, dry tarmac makes.
  16. It'll be touch and go then.... the Mini Mono brakes arn't the most powerful and even after they're bedded in properly they may not be powerful enough. Possibly get a larger rotor or buy a mono trials caliper.
  17. AndyT, Kevin Shiramizu, TRA, Berridge and Jonny Jones make my favorite vids, in that order.
  18. OTN is an American based forum that could be handy for sourcing second hand parts and finding local dealers.
  19. Do the same as i suggested for the Avid and see what happens. If its a 165mm rotor on a stock it won't be able to handle the forces no matter what you do with it.
  20. Long live humour eh...
  21. You need to bed it in. Get some water in a bottle and out it down the bottom of hill. Ride to the top. Turn around. Ride down with your brake on. Pour water on your disk at the bottom. Repeat.
  22. So everyone who is saying Snowflake pattern spokes are weak have tried and tested them i presume?
  23. Jesus, lets not get into 'You what geez, thats a wigeon not a pigeon you plum'. I think everyone has different names. I'm trying that next time i find a suitable bench.
